Impact started off with Ray calling out Roode for not helping him out last week in his match against Storm and bringing up the fact that he’s been protecting and bailing out Roode the last few months while Rode has done nothing for Ray. Ray and Roode cut fine promos, but the crowd really wasn't into it as they just kept saying what.I really wish they wouldn't be breaking this Roode-Ray alliance up so soon as they have great chemistry and are fun together. Sting came out and got a big pop and made himself the enforcer for the main event at AAO and booked himself to team with Storm Vs Roode and Bully Ray in the Main Event. BTW the Insane icon moniker is pretty awful IMO.

I liked that TNA put together a video package going over the whole Daniels-Kazarian-Styles saga, it made the feud seem more important. Daniels Vs Styles was the usual excellent match between these two. It is amazing that these two have had underwhelming PPV matches in 2011 but excellent matches on Impact. Daniels and Styles got seven minutes and delivered and told a good story. The crowd was really hot for the action. Gotta give Kazarian credit for playing the conflicted soul role very well. IMO this is as much personality as he’s ever shown which isn't saying a lot. Daniels is really a fun heel and plays the smarmy heel really well. They told a good story with the brass knux and Kaz first refusing to give it to Daniels before frustratingly giving to to Daniels leading to the finish. I’m looking forward to the Kaz-Styles match at AAO and have a good end game to this storyline instead of just dropping it or just having Kaz turn full fledged heel with no explanations like what happened in the Dreamer-Bully Ray storyline.

I thought Magnus’ promo was one of the highlights of he show. He was really confident and carried himself like a star and really came of as a big star and baby-face. Magnus has always been good on the mic and he’s improved in the ring and he really good chemistry with Joe. I guess he and Joe are supposed to be the heels yet the crowd loves him and Joe and hates Morgan and Crimson. That is the case not only on the road but even at the Impact-zone as well. I really hope Magnus and Joe go over at AAO but I wouldn't bet on it.

The X division match between Shelley, Aries and Douglas Williams was a very good five minute match with Shelley going over Aries. While it was a fun little match I think TNA really dropped the ball on the Aries-Shelley feud. Aries and Shelley had a great promo exchange three weeks ago and woke up the usually dead Impact-zone and got people like me excited about the possibility of this feud reigniting the X Division, but instead neither guy has gotten any promo time to build up the match or having really any interaction the previous few weeks. I guess getting Garrett Bischoff a ton of airtime and shoving him down our throats is more important than building up talented guys. Another thing just tossing Douglas Williams in a X division after being off the air for two months? Shouldn’t he be looking or revenge on Gunner? Oh right we’re not supposed to remember Gunner taking him out and Williams doesn't matter according to tptb. Williams was only in the three way because Haskins was hurt anyway.

The Hogan-Sting backstage stuff was brutal with Hogan going through the same old TNA is on the verge of greatness stuff and the young guys are getting it sctick that does nothing for the company and quite frankly makes the company look bush league. I can’t believe this shit is allowed to air. It got only worse from there with Hogan talking about how things will go down and chasing the camera man off. Oh God are we getting another dumb mystery storyline? The Garret Bischoff-Hogan segment was pretty awful too. The crowd booing the crap out of Garrett was edited out and replaced by pipped in cheering which made the segment even more pathetic. Hogan calling Garrett the future of wrestling was laughable in fact it was so laughable that Mickie James questioned that comment on twitter(http://www.prowrestling.net/artman/publish/TNA/article10023320.shtml) which likely will get her put in the doghouse. I so can’t wait for the Garrett-Gunner match at AAO with Hogan and Bischoff on on the outside. I bet the match will be in the semi main event slot. If only TNA put as much effort into making deserving wrestlers stars as they have in trying to make Garrett a star. This storyline is such a blight on the promotion. It’s amazing that Garrett gets more airtime than someone like James Storm.

Mickie James Vs Velvet Sky was not as bad as a match as I was expecting. Mickie worked as a heel during the match and sold frustration over not being able to put Velvet away and the announcers did talk about her doing some jobs lately which makes me think they are gearing up to turn her heel. That may freshen up her stale act the issue is that they don’t have a strong baby-face in the Knockouts division unless they turn Gail Kim face. Velvet is better off rarely wrestling and playing the bitchy heel and reuniting with Angelina Love.

Gotta give the TNA production staff for putting up a good hype video for the 4way world title match at AAO. All four men were good in talking about the reasons the wanna be champions and Roode was very good in playing the underdog champion in the video. He made good comments as did Storm. The Storm-Sting promo before the Main Event wasn't very good.

The tag team Main Event was not a bad fifteen minute match, but I hated the booking. The decision to have Roode job to Sting didn't make any sense. The finish to the main event made Storm look like a bit player and Roode weak as he jobbed to a part time wrestler who is twenty years older than him. The Main Event at AAO is supposed to be about the four guys in the match but Hardy is an afterthought and Storm feels like a bit player while the attention is now on Sting who’s not even in the match as he’s the enforcer and Bully Ray who could have saved Roode from losing the match tonight but didn't. I understand that Roode is likely to face Sting down the line but I wanted the attention on the guys in the match especially Storm. I mean for Gods sakes Sting wrestled his first match in three months and got hurt. The guy is an all- time great but his time has come and gone. I wish TNA would finally realize that. He is best off as strictly playing the authority figure.

All in all, this wasn't a bad show, but there was a drop off in quality from the last few months and the Garrett Bischoff stuff is unwatchable, and after doing a good job with the main event scene they go back to the well with Sting and Storm loses out as they seem to be dropping the ball with him.

I love Star Was. I love Wrestling. However, like a bizzaro Reese's peanut butter cup, it did not work. A trailer for Episode I, we have seen this movie multiple times on the network. Besides that. The very idea Garrett is the future of the business should make everyone give pause. If they turn him heel on Hogan maybe, he could be a low mid card heel, but anything higher than that is a mistake. I mean he looks slimy enough to be a heel.

I liked the Gail/Tara fight. AJ/Daniels was a good match and an interesting finish. Magnus needs more mic time. He really did a great job with explaining things out and getting the fans on his side. That said, Joe needs less mic time since his non-verbals were pretty awesome especially the middle finger ending. I have no idea why they tried to make Morgan and Crimson the faces on this tour when its clear the fans want to cheer for the hometown boys. They at least protected Williams. Good to see him back and great to see Chaos Theory back.

I have no idea what plan Sting and Hogan are talking about and to be frank I don't care. I am hoping we don't get another 10-10-10 out of this. The rest of the show was decent. The crowd has really help sell the fact TNA doesn't look like a glorified indy organization. The video packaging department even with the bad Star Wars stuff at the beginning has been doing a great job since BFG with their packages.

You failed to mention how big Mickie's ass looked in those shorts she was wearing, my goodness. Velvet is dead sexy but she can't wrestle worth a damn. Funny how TNA threw Hogan's in ring segment not only at the top of the hour but also after the knockouts brawl. Hogan practically begging the crowd to cheer Garrett was hysterical.

The show wasn't as good as last week's, but overall, I was entertained and the big crowd helped again. It, however, didn't get me excited for the PPV. To be fair, looking at that card, it's hard to get me excited about 2/3 of those matches, especially when Garett Bischoff's match is the 2nd most pushed match and gets 2nd billing. The Star Wars stuff was goofy, but I figure it was a network mandate so whatever.

AJ/Daniels is stale and I'm still not into this feud, but that was a really good TV match. AJ vs. Kazarian should also be good if creative doesn't get in the way.

The dynamic of it was screwry, but Magnus's promo was great. His 1 minute loss to Crimson a few weeks ago is even more baffling now. I'd like to not only see a title change at the PPV, but for Morgan & Crimson to go away for a while. I know the latter won't happen, but the last few months have shown how much both guys don't need to be on TV every week. They're quite awful.

The three-way was fun. Again, it's too bad X TV matches with guys like Aries & Shelley can't seem to get more than 5 minutes. It's disheartening that a Velvet Sky singles match got even 20 seconds more than a three-way featuring 3 of TNA's best workers. It's also disappointing that they finally booked an X Title feud with 2 guys who can cut great promos only to give them one promo this PPV cycle. They could have at least given each a 2 minute backstage promo or two somewhere on one of the last couple shows. There was at least 30 minutes of Garett segments this month they could have cut to make room.

It appears Hogan won't be embarrassed by his segment losing viewers for the 2nd consecutive week given his 5th quarter placement tonight. How convenient. I skipped yet another in ring segment where the editing team tried their damnedest to make it look like anyone cares about Garett, and Eric & friends tried to pass his son off as the future of the business. I know the result, though. Garett vs. Gunner is a waste of a PPV spot just like these segments were wastes of valuable TV time in front of the company's largest televised crowd.

Velvet vs. Mickie was bad. I'm not sure why it ate up time on the go home show. Neither has a PPV match and it wasn't good.

The main event was OK. I found it odd that the authority figure who's the special enforcer in the PPV main event submitted the champ instead of someone who’s actually wrestling in that match.

This episode was more paint by numbers than last weeks. Solid show. Nothing spectacular though. The Hogan/Bischoff stuff can go to hell. I don't care. Everything else was fine and the Ray/Roode fall out gave the show a story to follow. The main event was good, though they probably should have had Sting announce the match last week in order to sell it as a big deal. X Division & Knockouts had solid matches. AJ/Daniels Part 6230893409 was still pretty good & I really liked the Magnus promo.

with the exception of the Garrett Bischoff/Hulk Hogan garbage this was about as solid as Impact can get considering the management of TNA.
The X match was fun with great selling by all 3 men. Daniels & Styles was really good in both the wrestling and storyline advancement. The Knockouts had an excellent TV match that the crowd totally got into. While Mickie carried it, I felt Velvet kicked her game up showing how much she really can go. The Main Event was another really good match but like Lance Storm has been saying it's the actual logic of the booking that is still failing. If they keep things going in this direction, TNA could really be a contender.

I haven't cared for star wars since I was seven years old so this did nothing for me either. I also question opening up the video package on a no money feud between Eric and his kid. We're on the same wavelenght w-r-t to Joe's non verbal. I have never liked his screaming promo work, he needs a manager to talk for him. As far as Magnus- I thought he was a good, actually very good heel, but compared to his face promo he absolutely sucks as a heel. I can't remember the last time when someone pandered to the crowd and was so natural and believeable at it. Even as a huge Magnus fan, he even surprised me there, he seemed even more charismatic than usual, he looked like a true megastar. Considering he was a low midcarder/jobber for most of his career paying his dues, he's come very far skillwise, even his ring skills are solid nowadays.

I also think Morgan/Crimson should turn heel, Morgan is nothing but a wannabe megastar with little charisma, even though he is a decent all around, he is good when he has a direction) and Crimson is just terrible, does he have any character at all? They both have no characters to relate to, and you saw how an audience of mostly grown up people reacted to them, they get more heat than most heels in the promotion and are supposed to be faces lol.
