World Cup matches were very short and pretty eh. I like that Alex Koslov, though. (And the wheelbarrow driver he took looked PAINFUL.)
TWO Beer Money matches and they lose them BOTH? They should have fought someone besides MMG for the first match, someone that they could have just KILLED and then strapped -- where are Mikey Batts & Jerelle Clark when you need 'em?
(Alby has a point about the name...it's not very sonorous.)
I still don't get why the hardcore knockout matches are called "Bimbo Brawls." I assume that it's because Moose (who looks more like she collects her paycheck in meth every week) thinks that all of the other knockouts are bimbos, but I don't think they've really explained that -- it sounds like TNA is saying, "hey, here are some bimbos." Moose KILLED Roxxi and busted her open over one eye!
I'm still sad that Roxxi's head shaving lead only to her getting pulled from the whole Beautiful People feud and replaced with Gail Kim.
Taylor looked good in her win over Raisha Saeed. I don't like her abbreviated name -- it's kind of Diva-esque, no? -- but she could be a major player in the division.
Oh, hey, look -- there's Sting. I predict Sting/Joe for the title at Bound For Glory.

Who is Moose? Does anyone have a link of her?
I think I am coming to terms with the fact that I have a crush on Raisha Sayeed.

Yeah, she was trained by Ian Rotten and is one of those people who likes fighting with barbed wire and going face-first through flourescent light tubes and stuff. She could have a great bloody brawl with ODB on a PPV, I think, if they let them go all-out and quit with the stupid cookie sheets.
Oh, also, I can't believe I forgot the part of this show that made me laugh out loud -- when Beer Money got carried away with the straps and just started whipping everyone, including Don West; as he frantically scurried away, I don't know what he said, but we just heard "beeeeeeeeeeeep!"

Try this (youtube.com) instead.
I haven't seen that since I saw it on the original Thunder. Great find!

| #10 Posted on 8.7.08 1621.53 | I'm new to TNA, so is it me, or was it hard to watch Hector Guerrero? I mean, he looks so much like Eddy (and yes I realize they're brothers, but still) it's actually kind of creepy.

Yeah, I saw him for the very first time the other night also. Gotta agree with ya.

| #13 Posted on 10.7.08 1135.41 | Every time I see Hector, I definitely see an older version of Eddie. Maybe this would have been Eddie's role eventually too. Only without cutting a crappy promo where it seems he's wired on heroin or something, though.
