I'm in Florida for my Grandparents anniversary party tonight so I decided to check out the second leg of the impact tapings last night and decided to share the spoilers with my favorite wrestling message board if you don't mind. Before you ask the rule is you can post spoilers if your at the show. Anyway lets start.
The tapings started off with an Aries dark match win over some Indy guy named Alex something. Kazarian beat Magnus in a match taped for xplosion.
The impact tapings started out with a re tape of a promo exchange between Roode and Styles for this coming Thursday with a iron man match being booked between the two at the next PPV.
In the first match new tag champs Crimson and Morgan defended their titles against Mex America and won. yay feuding tag champs!
Karen Angle booked a 6 knockout lingerie match between Tara, Tessmacher and Velvet vs winter, Angelina and Velvet. Dunno if the match was good because I couldn't take my eyes off of velvet. She did get the pin and looked hotter than ever.
Next up was Kurt Angle who apparently was the guy that attacked storm backstage last week which makes sense. Storm wanted to fight, but Angle had back up in Daniels, Ray and Jarrett and beat down Storm until RVD, Styles and Hardy made the save.
Young beat Robbie E in the turkey bowl match as everyone went for a piss break.
Jarrett ran down Hardy and they brawled until Daniels and Ray ran in and Styles , Rvd Styles and Anderson made the save as Hardy was helped to the back. This set up the main event which was a 8 man elimination match of Roode-Jarrett-Ray-Daniels vs Anderson-Styles-RVD-Hardy.
Hardy didn't come down and Roode made it clear he wasn't interested in teaming with the other 3 heels and sat at the broadcast booth coming down once or two to cheap shot Styles and ended up being dqed. Anderson was eliminated first which got me to pop. Daniels beat Rvd and then Hardy ran down to save styles from a 3-1 disadvantage. Hardy beat Daniels and Jarrett and Styles beat Ray to win the match. Roode beat down Hardy and Styles after the match all by himself and then yells in Styles face as the show ended.
Not a particularly good show but Roodes heel act is awesome and the main event was a good match.
{edit: gave you some sweet ass linebreaks, thank you for your service}
Feuding tag champs have been so played out over the last dozen or so years. That said, any team even one that's feuding is an upgrade over Mexican America. I read that Hernandez's contract was coming up soon so hopefully he's on the way out. I'm not real interested in Morgan or Crimson as singles wrestlers at this juncture, so I'd actually have them get along and push them as a Road Warriors type tag team and see if they get over. Heck you can turn them heel when Sabin returns and have a David vs Goliath type matches with the MCMG Vs Crimson and Morgan.
What was the atmosphere like at the show? The crowds usually make me enjoy the shows less, so I've always wondered if it is a fun time, and I only seem to notice the few annoying fans, or is it a mess of "smart" fans?

The fans at the impactzone were pretty annoying, but not as annoying as I expected. Yeah there was some chants where they tried to amuse themselves and get themselves over but besides for Bischoffs kids they did boo and cheer the heels and faces. They really hated Roode. The booing was really pipped in when Angle attacked Storm. There were also lots of clueless tourists at the show hoping to get a glimpse of Hogan and he wasn't there.
On paper this looks like a show that could actually deliver, so I'm sure TNA management will find all kinds of ways to ruin it which sucks because every match Abyss isn't in has potential to steal the show if it wasn't for bad morale and horrible booking....
