Most of this week's show was forgettable, but the ending was great. The Carter Family Trio is back together. Rockstar Spud came out to try to save "Madam" Dixie Carter from Matthew Hardy and Tyrus. (While Ethan had feuded with Spud in the past, Dixie never turned on Spud, so it is understandable for him to still be loyal to her.) Eventually a silent EC3 came out to backup Dixie and Spud by running off the villains. Reuniting this trio is very good news. Rockstar Spud is at his best when he plays the Loyal Butler Character.
Since Aries-Roode and Manik-Shera were broken up due to releases, I'm glad that we're at least getting the Spud-Ethan bromance back.
Tyrus carried Matthew's baby around again this week. I assume that Maxell is a heel baby, the long prophesied Matt Hardy Version 2.0, and a full fledged member of the Matthew Hardy Faction.
Also, there are indications that Eli Drake switched his FoF briefcase with Grado's, because Grado is crashing Impact, and Eli Drake is plotting to keep him out.
Mike Bennett spread his boringness to a segment with Angle.
Matches: 1. Bobby Lashley defeated Bram (w/ KOTM champ Eric Young) 2. X-Division Championship rematch: Trevor Lee (c) (w/ Gregory Shane Helms) defeated Tigre Uno 3. Beer Money (James Storm and Bobby Roode) defeated Decay (Crazzy Steve and Abyss) (w/ the second clone of Daffney--Rosemary) via DQ after Decay prevented Beer Money from using their FoF shot against the Wolves 4. Jade (w/ the Dollhouse: Marti Bell and Rebel) defeated Madison Rayne, before the Dollhouse got chased off by Superwoman Gail Kim 5. "Detective" Drew Galloway defeated Kurt Angle--smart of them to have Angle go over in their first match. Makes us less annoyed at blue chipper Galloway for winning this rematch.
Coming up this week (2/16), according to the TNA website, will be a Monsters Ball for the tag titles between Decay (who stole the belts) and the champion Wolves. Also, The Dollhouse (sans Kong) will have a handicap match against former Knockouts Tag champs Rayne and Gail.
They also advertise that the week afterwards (2/23) will be the Lockdown (XII) event. 6-Sides of Steel matches announced on the website so far are: Tigre Uno will get another chance at the X-title against Trevor Lee, and Ethan gets his title rematch against MATTHEW.
Reigns felt so out of place. He was there to remind people Joe thinks he sucks. Cass promo was pretty good too. The rest was there. Dean still hating Seth was great for the whole two hours it lasted.
