But THE FIVE lends itself to the easy hand analogy (of WEB DuBois, I believe): Five fingers together tightly make a fist. You can use hand-themed logos to market it. I stand by THE FIVE. It has a good sound to it.
Don't the MCMGs already have a hand-themed logo where they point to the palm of their hands? I know it's to show where they are from in Michigan, but I always take it as "See Ma, no hair here!"

Thanks. I guess I blocked out those last few months of WCW, outside of Shane showing up on Nitro.
Calling themselves The Five may not be appropriate if they add a 6th member in the coming weeks/months.

You're right; the hand theme is already in play.
Unless it's to suggest the obligatory shocking swerve. Which I'm not advocating.

All the more reason to stick to five guys and avoid a polarization of the complete roster a la the NWO. The Legend Title is already a secondary, redundant MEM championship.

I could see maybe corny Kurt Angle suggesting it to McMahon and Austin, but only to get shot down as a joke. Heyman is right when he writes about getting some of the younger guys that know a thing or two about what's going on today to help with some of these naming ideas.

This makes me wonder what they are going to do with Christian. Are the Five admitting they aren't going to win Christian or if they win Christian's services will they not allow him to be officially a part of the Five. Maybe they can be the Sinister Six. Just one more away from the Magnificent Seven.

He drastically needs a new look so hopefully this is a permanent thing and he doesn't go back to the old gear/face paint for actual matches.

Sting looked completely bad ass without the face paint and wearing a suit, this new look could cement him as a heel. | | Pages: Prev 1 2
