For example, I don't care about college football. Every week when college football is on, it seems there are four or five people who post 6 or 7 times in the college football thread. When I look at the Last 100 posts, I'll sometimes miss other posts or threads. Would it be too hard to implement an ignore thread function? I know nothing about computers so I don't know if it's easy to do or a huge pain in the ass.

It WOULD be nice if certain people didn't post half a dozen times within 15 minutes. I don't know why it keeps happening - oh, wait, I know why. I'm not banning them regularly and that's the only way they seem to pay attention.
But since you're using the "Last 100 posts" link, you can do this: change the "exclude=" value in that link from the default of 25 (One Question...) to 10 (Football). Unfortunately, it's only set up to allow exclusions of one forum right now.
