Everybody should be at zero, which means everybody's messages will be displayed. Feel free to tinker with this and see if it enhances your reading experience! Set it to 9 and read posts from nobody except my brother, DEAN and Cubs Fan! Set it to 3 and rate everyone you know a 2 to see them disappear! Fun for the entire family!
Of course, you have to be a registered user to enjoy this feature - as well as so many others here at The W. Saaay - why not register RIGHT NOW? I need to hand out more tiny flags! I need to overload the server with new instant user ratings! I AM NOT BORED ENOUGH!

I've been on one guy's ignore list since I coded that feature. I'm not saying it's EASY to ignore me on this board, but it's certainly POSSIBLE. :)

Little saddened that 2 people are ignoring me and I'm actually surprised. No it's not that I think I'm a great poster, I just never thought I was relevant enough to actually annoy 2 people to actually take the time and ignore me LoL. I think I got an idea on who one would be but no idea who the second persons (Wait I should name names, it's not like they'd be reading this Ha)... My entire time here I only Iggied one person and that's because I noticed that he wasn't even believing what he was saying but just spewing stuff out to troll around.
As it seems you are in a computing mood and this topic being about peoples ratings. One thing I would like to see is the breakdown of the ratings. All just throw an easy number out there and say if someone has a rating of "5". I think it would be interesting to see if the majority of the people are voting 4,5,6 for this individual... Or is the voting 9s.10s and Zeros/ones which gives a "You other love or hate" this poster. Can be done as a graph like "Post by time of day" function

I do have a question though, rather than just gloating. Is this feature using the cumulative ratings or your personal ratings? Because in the first post CRZ mentioned rating all your friends 2 and not seeing them anymore if you set your thing to 3. I'm sure this is clear to other people, but I'm dense sometimes :)

One more time: Your threshhold is compared against the "Instant Rating" contained in the post data, not your own personal rating of that person (unless you're the sole person to have rated that user, in which case they are equivalent)

So if someone gets rated a 0 as their first rating, and posts a bit, and then everyone likes what they say and everyone gives them 10's (even the original 0 is changed), for anyone with a threshold > 0, they will never see those posts that made everyone change the rating, they will only see the posts with the instant rating of 10. Correct?
