My kids are also on Radio Disney Gravytrain. We like to play a game when we switch it on - Guess which performer is next, Jonas Brothers or Hannah Montana? I believe those are the only two being played currently on there. I am trying to get them in to Fred on 44 (billed as The History of Alternative Radio), but they're not biting.
So, I second the Year 3000 by The Jonas Brothers.

Did you mean L'Trimm? (Although if Le Tigre did a version of it, that MIGHT be awesome.)

When I read these quotes, I laughed because both our cars have Radio Disney playing whenever there are kids in the car. And while I can't take Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers, the HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL crew has them both beat. This is based solely on the fact that I have no idea what the Jonas Brothers look like and couldn;t pick Hannah Montana out of a crowd, but I could tell you what the "kids" from HSM look like and dance like because of those movies and each time I hear those songs, I can;t get the movie image out of my head.
If I had to pick ONE HSM song, it would be "I don't Dance", which was the worst part of the whole HSM 2 movie because it ruined baseball. But really, all the songs drive me crazy to different degrees.
Is it possible to just have Radio Disney eliminated and any song played on it?

I'm going to have to second this. "My Humps" is quite possibly the worst, most inexplicably popular song ever. I mean, there have been some bad pop songs that are somewhat redeemed by a good beat, or a singer with a decent voice. "My Humps" has neither of these.
Runner Up: "Crank That" by Soulja Boy. I respect the kid's hustle in getting his music out. I'd respect it more if he used some of that effort to make a song that doesn't make me want to cut my ears off. Can I get some down south hip-hop that doesn't go out of its way to suck?

The whole "cheat, lie, and deny" message is just horrible for the kiddos and the "bangin' on the bathroom floor" is always awkward for those family car rides.

True. When you hear Alanis Morissette singing "My Humps", you realize how stupid the lyrics are. I can't understand the popularity of Fergie at all. She's a white girl from California, not ethnic like her image makes her seem (she did the voice of Sally in several Charlie Brown movies, and was on Kids Incorporated). I don't think she's particularly attractive (she's an obvious butter face), not that I have any right to criticize on that regard. There's nothing about her that makes me want to like her or her music. | Spank E

| #20 Posted on 15.10.07 1517.47 | Instant Rating: 3.08 | Picking one is so hard, as I have three that all fit a different category.
Adult music: You Raise Me Up. In watching American Idol I have come to despise this song and anyone singing it.
Kids music: Anything by the Doodlebops but probably the theme song most of all. It's the most generic, horribly done childrens show ever. The Wiggles I can see, and their stuff is fine for what it is. The Doodlebops should all commit suicide for their part in that show.
Sorta "music": Few things annoyed me as much as when the Rams were good and kept playing that god damned "go to work" song. I couldn't even tell you what it was called or any of the lyrics or who wrote it, just that I wanted to scream every time it was played. It made being a Rams fan such a horrific experience, as you'd be so happy when they scored(which was often) and then so angry that the damn song was playing yet again.
Now that I think about it, the Rams song would be tops if I ever heard it these days but I can't say I have in at least a year. Lucky me.
