|  #1 Posted on 10.1.07 1406.44 | Instant Rating: 9.00 | Forgot that Mike Judge's "Idiocracy" came out on DVD yesterday - picked that up and Kim and I watched it last night. This movie has a long, sordid history mostly involving the fact that FOX had trouble figuring out how to create a 30/60 second spot that got across the concept of the movie. It was released in something like seven cities last year after nearly two years of sitting in a vault somewhere. So with all that, it's hard to say I didn't have expectations going in, but rather...what those expectations exactly WERE.
Anyway, if you liked "Office Space" AND "Beavis and Butt-head" AND Luke Wilson AND Mya Rudolph, you'll probably find this a safe pick and a pleasant way to while away 87 minutes and $19.99 on the DVD.
