| #1 Posted on 17.5.02 1101.07 | That interview Jericho did on Smackdown was really serious, more than any I've seen with him before. By the end I was truly convinced that he'll win Sunday. Most of you guys say that because of the usual stuff in the back, HHH will win, I would mind either way. But, my instinct tells me that Y2J will get it done. I wonder if it's the same Jericho that ran through Japan and Mexico. If so, then despite my current disdain of the WWE (in favor of the last several X-Files episodes), it's gonna kick butt. Comments?

| #3 Posted on 17.5.02 1245.32 | I don't remember ever seeing Jericho as a serious heel except his feud with China when he attacked her with a hammer. I admit I havn't seen his Mexico/Japan work so the only gimmicks I've seen are
Lionheart Chris Jericho Conspiracy Theory Chris Jericho Y2J(sophmoric face) Living Legend Chris Jericho
You know I don't think a serious Jericho would bode well for me. But that's just my opinion.

In between Conspiracy theory Jericho and Sophomoric face Jericho there was "Wanna-be bad-ass heel Jericho" which is what they seem to be going for now. It sucked. Almost as bad as "wanna-be bad-ass face" Jericho that was between (I think) Sophomoric face and Living Legend. This character, in tandem with Chris Benoit, is also known as "Beecher/Keller" Jericho (and Benoit). (apology to all non-OZ fans out there).

He had long blonde hair and resembled a skinny Jericho. Did anyone else see the similarities between this guy(sorry I can't remember his name) and Jericho, or am I just crazy.

The serious, pissed off all the time gimmick is for someone that can't work the stick. It would be stupid for Jericho to stop using something that is one of his stongest assets.

Last time they had a "battle" in the Last Man Standing Jericho STILL lost heat in the eyes of marks and casual fans by losing. He needs a clean win. Desperately, unless he wants to stay in midcard hell forever.

| #14 Posted on 17.5.02 1831.10 | Just because he did one serious promo doesn't mean he is completely changing his persona. It's just that everyone realises HITC is a serious matter. And to emphasize it, Jericho went serious for a bit. Which is no different from yelling 'respect me!' prior to the Rumble. It is just the way to say/tell that nobody should count him out just because he is a whining heel..
HHH did the same thing prior to the Streetfight with Cactus. At the time he was the prick heel, being an ass cos he and steph ruled supreme. But suddenly he went all mental and started stooping to new lows, and threatening to be more sadistic than Cactus ever was.
Being serious only doesn't work for Jericho. He has too much natural charisma for that.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! HHH is like a heat vampire, and Jericho is a neck waiting to be suckled upon. Jericho's only prayer of ever getting over as a permanent heel is getting away from HHH by moving to Raw, and hoping that maybe Austin would be happier working with him than with the NWO. As long as he and HHH are on the same show, he will always be HHH's personal job bitch.

Instead of Conspiracy Victim Jericho...how about Conspiracy Creator Jericho? He could use a large Machivallean plot to get the title back!

Christ, HHH is already lining up his next feud (run Edge, RUN!) before he's even done with Jericho.
Angle was running into the same problem with HHH a few years ago before that awesome run with Austin.

Jericho IS a conspiracy victim. Ruxpin is obviously out to to destroy all other competitors with long, flowing, nice hair. He's turned Jericho into a future, bitter, over inflated ego having slim jim spokesman, his wife is writing Christain to tap to Mark Henry's bear hugs, and now he is after Edge.
