I have to have a song like "Put me in coach, I'm ready to play" to use as part of a presentation for a YMCA fundraiser. There will be pictures of children playing over this.
This song was used last year, so we can't use it.
Themes are: Sportsmanship, children, fun, happy, etc.
Bishop Allen's "Click Click Click Click" sounds like it could be an ad for Kodak - but, aside from fun and happy, it doesn't really meet your other standards.
That's the only song that really stood out for me - and my life is so un-child oriented that I don't know what else would work. I have some world music that also might do, but that's about all I can think of...
Not coming up with anything great, but maybe if you're stuck ... Queen: "You're My Best Friend", maybe mixed with "We are the Champions" or "We Will Rock You" as canonical sports anthems.
Alyssa Milano's "Teen Steam"? (ok lets see who remembers that one)

"Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help." - Isaiah 58:7 (New Living Translation)
I went with "Linus & Lucy" off of the Joe Cool's blues by Wynton Marsalis. If you are unfamiliar with the song, it's a jazz version of what you would call the Peanuts theme.

So, you're saying you ignored all this advice and went out on your own? Good for you, Aaron!

Street Official, Vol. 9 (phobos.apple.com) After a month off, Winta is back in fine form with number nine. Turn me on, dead man - wait, that's not hip hop...unless it's the Grey Album, I guess. Well that's another thread EDIT:
