I didn't catch the whole show, but I saw enough of it that there's some things I wanted to throw out here:

- The alternate universe Tony Schiavone (with evil goatee) was amsuing, though really it was getting so hyper-smarky even I became annoyed. When you reference Pamela Paulshock, Scott Hudson, David Crockett, AND Johnny Weaver all in one night's angle progression, you've probably got to scale it back. However on the plus side I believe Mike Tenay and Tony Schiavone having hatred far more than say Steiner and HHH have been able to sell me in the last few weeks.

- I have grown very impressed with AMW, as every week they seem to be rock steady at having decent-good matches and getting a good amount of crowd heat. I'm not sure they would fit in the current WWE, but they will be players as long as NWA:TNA remains in existence.

- Good God it's the Rock N' Roll Express. Thankfully Ricky Morton didn't succumb to the same foolishness that Eddy did, as Ricky still had a lovely mullet. Robert Gibson though is reminding me strangely of Jake Roberts in Beyond The Mat.

- I'm not sure yet what I think about the AJ Styles/Zybysko angle, or the Lynn/Truth angle, but I'm willing to give them time to play out. They've done a very good job of positioning Styles as his own man, not really aligned with any faction, kind of like a mush-mouthed redneck Sting from the NWO angle And I hope they don't go the easy route and turn Killings heel. The crowd WANTS to cheer for him, so let them. Besides, the SEX faction has like 40 people in it now already I think.

- Lastly, and most urgently, why in the hell is Trinity and Desire not on my Monday night tv involved with Trish and Victoria and Jazz??? IIRC, WWE actually cut Desire (Kim Nielsen) which just makes no sense to me. And Trinity has officially replaced Victoria as my wrestling babe of the moment. I want her and Trish vs. Victoria and Jazz and I want it NOW!

Overall, while not a very wrestling intensive edition of TNA, I felt like I did not waste my 2 hours of time watching it, and would encourage people to give it a chance in the coming weeks. Next week's Siaki vs. Red X division match ought to be fun. Each show is flawed, but usually not bad viewing.

I swear I will NEVER complain about Undertaker being an old man EVER AGAIN! With Dusty Rhodes, Larry Zybysko, Nikita Koloff, and now the Rock n' Roll Express, NWA:TNA has clearly established itself as the new senior circuit.

Let's start taking bets on when we'll see Paul Orndorff, Magnum TA, and...THE WARRIOR! OH DEAR GOD, NO!

For those of us who DON'T get TNA, could we please get some pictures of Trinity and the booty shaking girl? Danke!

Yes -- those matches they had with the New Church were really great, and they seem like they can have a good match with just about anyone, Harris Boys excluded.

I'm not sure yet what I think about the AJ Styles/Zybysko angle, or the Lynn/Truth angle, but I'm willing to give them time to play out. I agree, except -- I think Zybysko as Styles' manager could be really cool. I did like the two Styles/Zybysko matches we've seen, too, although not necessarily enough to watch Larry wrestle much more. The angle here, though, feels pretty fresh to me.

Lastly, and most urgently, why in the hell is Trinity and Desire not on my Monday night tv involved with Trish and Victoria and Jazz??? If there's one person that WWE could hire right now, today, and have a new star with by this time next week, it's Trinity. Not that she's the greatest wrestler ever (although that headscissors into the cross-arm breaker was SWANK) or the most beautiful woman on the planet, but she would nevertheless have the crowds eating out of her hand in an instant. She's just got loads of presence, I guess. Still and all -- I want her to stay in NWA TNA, please.

Overall, I'm getting REALLY SICK of the "Here's an old guy! OMG SHOCKING SWERVE he's aligned with Russo! Here's a match! OMG RUSSO RUN IN! Here's an old guy! OMG SHOCKING SWERVE he's aligned with Russo! Here's a match! OMG RUSSO RUN IN!" formula that they've been hammering into the ground. And I want more X-Div guys. And just less Russo and other guys who TALK and do not WRESTLE.

P.S. For Cerebus, here's a pic of Trinity, with Kid Kash:

This thread has reminded me of that bastion of Nitro greatness: Pamela Paulshock. GOOD LORD that woman made for great TV.

Neither is Lita. If WWE could make a star out of her, they can sure as hell make a star out of Trinity.

If Magnum comes back, I'll watch. Hell, I'll drive to Nashville to see Magnum in the ring again. And at this point, a Warrior babbling interview would make for better viewing than Scott Steiner.

I'm glad Lita was mentioned because that was the same vibe Trinity gave me watching her the last few weeks. She has that weird charisma that makes you connect with her and be more able to identify with her than say a Trish or a Torrie Wilson. She just seems cool.

BTW, for more info, she has a home page up at http://www.stephaniefinochio.com Some nice pics up there, as well as the info that she does stunt work as Jennifer Garner's double in the upcoming Daredevil movie.

spf is right on the money -- imagine Lita at her tail-end stint of teaming with Essa Rios -- remember how cool she was? That's what Trinity's like now.

Why settle for imitations when you already have the original?

Where'd they did up the RnR express from?

Seconding Weisman. This could be a really strong peice of film if done right, a cheap The Wrestler knockoff if done poorly, or utter shit.
