...and the only thing I'm thinking right now that he kinda resembles Darth Maul or one of the characters (don't know the name) from the Spawn movie.

In the "sneak pic" I saw, he looked JUST LIKE Candice Bergen's boss; Miles Silverburg.

But that might just have been the lighting. Who knows?

Looks like he ditched those goofy horns, so at least that's a plus.

You know, we hadn't heard anything about this guy for a couple months, and I had really started to hope that they had realized what a bad idea this character is. Aparently not.

When has the WWE ever went back on what everyone thought was a terrible idea?

I hope this is just something for Halloween.

Is he supposed to wrestle with all of that crap on his face? And are they really calling him "The Boogieman"? Holy crapola that is an awful name/gimmick/costume/idea.

"At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi, and they will never forget the name ssssss... Boogeyman."

That's what he looks like to me-- Goldust and Darth Maul's demon love child.

The skit tonight with him, Teddy, and the network guy was so peculiar I didn't know what to make of it. What was with that clock? And did the network guy actually say, "the talent" in referring to the guy playing the Boogeyman?

Weird all around.

To be honest... it's an improvement over the look he had before (with the white face paint and the horns).

Doesn't make the gimmick idea any less dumb, though.

It's good to see that the WWE isn't backing away from Batista or Cena. There's still some questions lingering over a few of the draft moves they either made or didn't make (Jericho being a prime example), but the stage is set for a solid run to Summerslam that may send the indicator down. The longer Triple H stays away is also a plus...

This is as freaky as the one above from the Smackdown taping. The picture from Smackdown reminds of The Djinn from the Wishmaster movies. Yes, the first one was in 97 and was on the big screen, Wishmaster is still around in fact the three other movies after the original went direct to video.

***EDIT***
Pic credit "stolen or borrowed" from Obsessedwithwrestling.com profile section.

***EDIT 2***
The Boogeyman...no sort of something different. It keys right into my inner child as if the moster in my closet was "The Boogeyman" I think the gimmick will be good. Not great but good.

I caught an hour of Smackdown. Lashley looks good. Kennedy looks great. The Boogeyman does...not.
