| #1 Posted on 2.6.02 2205.04 | Instant Rating: 0.00 | Here I was, worried about all the games being played between 12 midnight and 8am local time. Would I pussy out and forget the Beautiful Game? Or would I pussy out by relying on a heady mixture of coffee and amphetamines to get me through? Hardly -- watching six or seven hours of football then working nine hours has been a breeze!
Oh, who am I kidding? I am so tired ... my God I'm tired. I'm just gonna crash tonight and sleep till ... wait a second. Brazil v. Turkey at 3am -- then Italy v. Equador (Ulyses de la Cruuuuuuuuuz! Watch for him on Equador's right side) at 5:30! I am so there. I go to bed now and I can get 5 1/2 hours of sleep. Coffee and amphetamines will get me through work. Rinse and repeat for the rest of June.

and nigeria...man that keeper is soooooo lucky...that game should have been 5-nil, not 1-nil...he was sooooo out of position for all those missed headers...

I was laughing and enjoying the cameroon vs. ireland match because this guy made it so much more. The day after i caught a glimpse of Jack Edwards doing the same game on ABC and it sucked monkey balls. What a diff a good storyteller makes huh...so if u get Univision i invite you to sulk in a game even if you dont understand spanish, only by hearing his passion when commentating it breaks all language barriers.

Snooty English accent + good football = an entertaining time to be had. It really does make a difference when the play by play man has something worthwhile to say.
Brazil looked very good individually in their win over Turkey this morning -- but defensively they look so vulnerable at times. They are going to have trouble against the better teams at the tourney.
I'm very disappointed with Equador (losing 2-0 to Italy at halftime). They have talent but no finish. Ah well ... de la Cruuuuuuz is playing very well in a losing cause.

| #5 Posted on 3.6.02 0910.21 | Hey, Ecuador did alright against Italy, for a team playing their first World Cup game ever.
Mexico with a lucky(?) win over Croatia, puts them in a good position to advance. | dunkndollaz
