From our good friends at www.nypost.com (ha ha, Jeter's hurt), who took it from the Washington Post.

WAR AND PEACE ON TV

FOX News and NBC are the networks of choice for those who describe themselves as hawkish on the war in Iraq, while CBS and ABC are where more doves are roosting, according to a recent surveey of likely voters by pollster John Zogby.
Overall, the poll found that two out of three voters said they supported the war.
Eighty-one percent of viewers who primarily got their news from Fox said they backed the war, compared to 71 percent of NBC's audience, followed by CNN (65 percent), MSNBC (64 percent), ABC (62 percent), and CBS (60 percent).
A total of 1,011 self-described likely voters were interviewed this past Monday. Margin of error for the overall results is plus or minus 3 percentage points.

"A recent survey of likely voters", eh?

So, a majority of the minority are for the war? Delicious.

Zogby's the best poller out there. Unscientific? You do realize this guy gets paid an amazing amount of money because he's able to get stuff like this right, don't you?

It's pretty simple to get whatever result you want from a poll, I never trust them.

But you don't have to worry about Heston breaking into the Final Four this coming weekend with the following news alert: 'This is Dan Rather in New York. We have received unconfirmed reports that President Kennedy has been shot in Dallas. Now, these rumors are unconfirmed, and we don't want to jump the gun here at CBS News. In an unrelated, unconfirmed story, I have wet myself. Now, this story is unconfirmed, but we have staff on the scene, to give you the viewer, as quickly and accurately a report as possible. Remember, when a game is close, CBS News will interrupt it so I can take over the airwaves. From New York, this is Dan Rather.'

To add to RSN...

"I'm Dan Rather reporting from New York. This game is more close than an aardvark mating with a manatee in the Dallas heat, but breaking news reports that Bill Clinton is still the personal savior of the media. Unconfirmed reports indicate that Bill Clinton has murdered his mistress. However, let me remnind you that this story is not about a crime but only about sex. This one is going to go on until the cows drive home and guard the wolf in the hen house in Texas. We'll continue to break in when least convenient. I'm Slim Pickens from the big city..."

It depends on the type of Anarchist. For instance, the most right-wing Libertarians describe themselves as Anarchists. And considering right-wingers generally like to define themselves by their opposition to government, it would follow that no government would be the most right-wing position.

Anarchism is not a simple, homogenous thing. It's like "Democracy." "Democracy" isn't right-wing or left-wing, and if it is, it depends on the system of Democracy you're using.

www.infoshop.org will give you years worth of information on this.

I was referring less to lawless anarhcy then I was the left-wing, communist manifesto type of lack of government, i.e. governmenth whitering away that once upon a time defined the left-wing Marxist Utotpia(but obivously never in practice).

Is this some sort of cute way of suggesting that most Americans are actually against the war, because only voters were polled here?

It was what I like to refer to as an "observation". As in "I observe that voters are a minority in America, and the majority of them support the war. Thus, it could be inferred that the majority of a minority supports the war."

I'm a Libertarian, and I describe myself as one who wishes to minimize government's authority in my personal life, not as an anarchist.

It's funny because my experience is just the opposite. Conservatives have called me (a registered Republican, by the way) a sinner, a heathen (really just a Catholic), and I've found that the most intolerant is the far religious right.
