He did not pick up such items as the grappling hook, choosing instead to morph ball bomb himself over large gaps. The man's efforts were videotaped and made official, and he believes that he has room for improvement on his time.
Man, I had heard stories about Japanese students sitting at computers all day and stuff like that, but this is some hardcore gaming. I can't imagine beating Prime in under 12 hours, at best. Just unbelievable.

A few years ago a friend of ours hosted a Japanese exchange student. He spent pretty much the entire time trying to beat Super Contra for the original Nintendo with only one life. He eventually succeeded, and showed us, and it was pretty much the most amazing thing ever.
