PB, the problem isn't that people are negative, it's that they happen to be negative about the biggest things going on right now. Read the posts after most any ep of Smackdown, and you'll see a veritable lovefest going on. The problem is we've just had 2 straight days of the HHH/Kane crap shoved at us, including the non-stop talk about it on Raw last nite, and people are fed up with it. People were generally quite positive about the PPV I thought. It looks awful right now because so many people are so pissed off with the angle last night and the last few weeks of Raw in general, but really, I think this whole "tide of negativity" thing is really overplayed.

Next Week, I plan on rushing for 200 yds. against the Bears:
Detroit 23, Chicago 20
Bears go to 2-4 (next vs. Minnesota Oct. 27)

I still posted regularly on here for a while, even after that...but quite frankly, I learned it wasn't worth wasting my breath. People are stubborn(I'm no exception), so I doubt anything I say will get them to change their minds.

Maybe the general negativity of the online scene is just getting to me too...especially with the problems that WWF/E has been having in recent times. At least I have some alternatives...there's the local indy fed, GCW, plus the tapes of NWA-TNA that I get from a friend.

Also PB, during the height of the nWWWo, the WWF was on deaths door. Now, Vince is the only big league game in town, so when he puts out crap, its going to get ripped. If WCW had put Hogan nailing a corpse on the screen in '97, the net would have ripped it apart. Its not hatred of the WWF/E, its hatred of a series of bad ideas.

I want you to know, I agree with everything I've just said.

Well, I can't speak for anyone else but I'm not here to change anyone's mind nor do I want mine to be changed. I just like to read intelligent, well-thought-out posts with humor where possible. Personally, I just hope I can make people laugh with my posts. If I make them think, it's an extra (albeit unlikely) bonus. I've only ever been on two boards per se but I have much experience with online multi-player games where people communicate so I think I'm qualified to say this is quite an open-minded and friendly community overall. Just my two cents.

Waiiiiiiit, the nWWWo had a height? They were bad bad bad, till they hired that Mike Sweetser dork, then they got worse worse worse.

Seriously, though, I missed Raw Is Dry-Humping-A-Mannequin and it sounds like I'm a better person for it.
