He was originally supposed to be doing the new Batman movie, and his movie starring Brad Pitt apparently fell apart halfway through shooting.

I'll just cross my fingers and really hope they don't f-this up. I have to admit I don't know a damn thing about Darren Aronofsky (if he is directing).
