Is anyone here in its path? Will you ride it out or evacuate? Have you lived through one of these before? All we get here is the last bit of the rain. I ment to do this for Harvey too. Anyone from Houston area want to talk about it? These storms are scary. I try to watch CNN/Weather channel during them. Try to find live streams of them. Stay safe.

I live on the coast at the Georgia/Florida line so we aren't facing what Miami is, but it looks like it could cross right over us as a category 3. We ran from whatever storm actually hit last year, which was much weaker and came home to not much damage besides our fence gone, though others had much worse damage. We have a hotel room booked in northwest Georgia for Saturday through Wednesday and are running if it turns northward as projected, but we have seen so many storms here projected this way that turn to either just Florida or go up to the Carolinas. It is very wait and see for another few days, but it is always mass hysteria with water sold out and gas running low between locals and the influx of Floridians crossing the state line. Hotel rooms throughout the state are apparently already gone.
