Just finished watching a the A-Team on TNN today. Hogan stars as "the Hulkster, World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion".

He has an incredible talent. He manages to use three hand gernades to incapacitate seven bad guys.....with out killing any of them! Normally he would have just killed them, but he was going to be speaking at the Youth Center and wanted to set a good example for the kiddies.

The greatest performance Hogan ever had was in Rocky III. Sadly, it probably was the best technical match in Hogan's 20 plus year career.

I want you to know, I agree with everything I've just said.

I truly mark-out for No Holds Barred. The movie AND the match.

As far as wrestling (?) is concerned, I think his greatest performance was against The Dingbat Warrior (credit:redsoxnation) at Wrestlemania VI. I thought the match was very good for 2 muscleheads with little talent.

It really was. It was also probably the best example of how good hype can make an event. They really set up that match well, although I'm sure if I watched that match today in its entirety, I'd cringe a lot.

3 Ninjas:High Noon at Mega Mountain, starring Hulk Hogan as TV action star Dave Dragon.

I'd forgotten all about this, until I read this thread...

I always liked his cameo near the end of "spy Hard". He comes out and does the whole posedown deal and then gets his ass whooped. Right after this his Wife comes into the scene and kicks serious ass.

God I love them Leslie Neilson movies

My favs are: No Holds Barred, Suburban Commando, and his Baywatch Guest role.

And Iron Mike, I, too, enjoyed the Pam Anderson porno with Hulk. The way he no-sells his own ejaculation was nothing short of genius.

Hogan/Warrior was quite good but the best Hogan match I've ever seen was his one against Savage at Mania V.

The Pamela Anderson porno with Hulk Hogan? Okay, someone's gonna have to give me some more details on that... was it related to Hogan's guest appearance on Baywatch (the Bash at the Beach '95 episode)?

I remember some guy on the board awhile back saying he saw footage of a Hogan match in Japan in which Hogan threw an enziguiri. We all sarcastically responded, “Oooh, an enziguiri! Hogan must be the greatest wrestler in the entire universe!!”

Hogan gets bashed too much around here. His match with Savage at WMV was fantastic. Also his match at VI where he fought the Warrior wasn't half bad either. Also, you have to admit, WMX8's match with him was pretty epic.

Any news of Hogan reemerging to push his autobiography anytime soon? That should be a hell of a performance.

I actually enjoyed seeing Hulk Hogan's recent return to the WWF/WWE. Hell... Rock/Hogan bought WrestleMania X-8 for me, and it was the very first time I ever watched a pay-per-view live. The match quality was fairly decent, but the crowd was absolutely on fire.

WrestleMania V against Savage... eh, I can't really comment, seeing as how I've never seen that match. But I'll say this: at that point in his career, Savage could've wrestled an inanimate carbon rod to a three-star match.

WrestleMania VI's match against Ultimate Warrior was so heavily prechoreographed that I'm not even sure I should really count it as being an epic match. No improvisation whatsoever, from what I understand. Give me Benoit and Angle in a two-out-of-three-falls match any day of the week and have them work their magic on me.

Speaking of Ultimate Warrior, it's funny how badly he bashes Hogan, seeing as how Hogan put him over cleanly at WM VI and that match was the only thing people remember about Warrior's entire career. Warrior takes Hogan-bashing to a whole new level-- Hogan did a rare thing and made him a superstar, and Warrior's been talking shit about him ever since.

To put it in perspective, so was Savage/Steamboat from WM3

I may get shot for this but here goes:

Savage and Steamboat from WM3 was not that good.

There, I've said it.

I own the match and watched it dozens of times. The near-falls were fun the first time you watch them, but the thing is ALL false finishes. Come on, get over it. It ain't that hot.

Hogan once had a really good match with DDP during an old edition of Nitro.

It's odd, but it seems that every RAW main event has some combination of Benoit, HBK, HHH, Randy Orton, Shelton Benjamin, Eugene & Edge. Most Smackdown main events are the Dudley Boyz, RVD, Rey Mysterio and Bradshaw. Strange.
