When the WWE shows flashbacks from 20 years ago...and you remember watching it. *deep sigh* Alright, seriously I didn't remember them...I swear...

But Piper's Pit was very, very amusing! Coconuts - I didn't see that coming - poor Rikishi! And this is sad, but all I kept thinking about watching Kish was how expensive all that damn leather was. And Sean "my new obsession until Kurt gets back" O'Haire looked unbelievable! Have they been holding off on his beautiful ass only to hook him up with the Piper in some sort of demented, beer swiggling, kilt wearing, lass chasing student/teacher storyline? Do we really care as long as Sean keeps coming out and showing some flesh? Pffft - no!

I should back up a little - how great is Spanky? He is so adorable I just want to put him away on a shelf so I can take him down and play with him when I'm having a bad day. That's how adorable he is. Too bad he was rostered up with that plastic girl who was wearing a Hunter-like 'the easter bunny threw up on me' outfit. Really - did anyone coordinate those two before they stepped into the ring?

Team Angle - I bowed my head.

Nathan Jones - wins with a boot. BWAHAHAHAHAHA Demott = fish chum. Actually, that might be a little insulting to fish chum…

I love how the FBI talk, "da tree of us…" hilarious! I keep expecting for Robert Dinero to come in and give a 'you looking at me?' line.

I miss Kurt.

Cena, man, he looked damn good again. He's like a human anatomy project on muscles. What's with Taker though, he sick or something? When he did that interview with small nameless boy, he had his little dead shirt on, the little bandana down real low, little sunglasses on…he looked liked bizarro evil Hogan…it scared me. Oh yeah, scared me a lot. Cena v Benoit next week…I'll take it. Prediction: Cena wins clean. He'd better, cuz he'd looked like fish chum against Brock if he got help to win. Any takers?

All in all, SD was good. I am not commenting on the Dynamic Plastic Duo of Torrie/Sable because they suck and should just go away. I hope Nidia kicks both their asses back into their plastic wrap. Well, I guess now I did comment on them…whatever.

Purple sighting of the week: None. Emma - what's up with that???

Worth the Price of Parking: Sean.
Worth the Price of Admission: Piper making fun of the XFL (only because I was in a fantasy XFL league...god...I can't believe I just admitted that...I did have that Cortez kicker fellow on my team though...and I came in second! God...I can't belive I couldn't even win a fantasy XFL league...)

When McMahon describes Hogan's "leporasy"...and you just keep eating your dinner.

I bowed my head for Angle, as well as Dr. Jho, I hope the two of them will benefit. Spanky was sooooo cute. Torrie...uh, forget it. I have to admit, I'm not as into Smackdown this week, so I didn't pay too much attention. It wasn't just because of Angle, but the only big thing going on is Hogan-McMahon. Look, I grew up with Piper and Hogan, and McMahon, and I appreciate all they done, but... I MOVED ON! So, not good show in my book. The only things that were good were...

A moment of silence for Kurt Angle (I remembered the candy striper singlet, hehehe)

Spanky (sooooo cute!)

Mattitude (If Trish wanted a Hardy, take the one with a personality, please!)

Piper's line about how all of Vince's outside projects flopped, while the only thing he exceled at was in a job "his daddy gave him". Same will be said for Stephanie one day, I'm sure, lol.

Like I said, Smackdown was eh, because the old timers soaked up too much screen time.

Old people aren't the solution to current problems.
Oh god, is that SABLE?! We miss you already, Kurt!

Tomboy, I also bowed my head in a moment of silence for Kurt, so don't feel alone.

I was watching the show with my beau last night and even he admitted there is something adorably lovable about Spanky. Not in a sexual way, but more in a cute puppy-dog way. Of course, now I can't get the idea of the two of them doing a little wrestling of their own...mrow!

Regarding the plastic ladies, it was pointed out to me that you can tell who the T&A girls are because they bend waaaaaaaaaay over so the audience can see down their shirt and up their pants when they get in the ring. The wrestler girls get in the ring like a normal human being. Interestingly enough, Trish no longer does the T&A entrance - yay! Now if only they could swap Nida for Stacy, and then I could just change the channel when a girl comes on Smackdown.

I'm am completely behind the return of Piper's Pit. I loved to hate Piper as a kid, and "They Live" is one of my favorite movies. Throw Sean O'Haire as Captain Evil into the mix and I'm a happy camper.

I haven't actually watched Smackdown, yet. Despite being the Spring Break Capital of the World! and the town that brought down the GGW empire, we still don't rate a UPN affiliate. The local NBC affiliate does show Smackdown, but not until early Sunday morning. Well, better late than never.

I'm glad to hear that O'Haire will be doing something more than standing in the back making cryptic comments, and I'm glad there will be some cruiserweight action. I (heart) cruiserweights, especially Tajiri and Noble. And Mattitude, of course. And Rey and Kendrick and Funaki. Oh, hell, I love them all.

I'm not glad that we'll have to suffer through another lesbian stalker storyline. Poor Torrie. First she's molested by Dawn Marie, and now by Sable. What is it about the girl that brings out the crazed lesbian in every woman she meets?

The worst thing about Sable's return isn't her bad taste in fashion, but that the WWE would rather have her on the payroll than Raven or D'Lo Brown. Or, even Kevin Kelley for that matter. How mad would you be if you were fired as a means of cutting costs, and then replaced by the woman who once sued the company?

So Stacey, does this mean you have to tape Velocity, so you can watch it after the Sunday Smackdown showing? That’s a damn nuisance! Meanwhile, I only just got to actually watch this week’s SD, so I’m not much ahead of you.

Ahh, isn’t that the question that WWE expects every red-blooded, teen-demographic boy to be contemplating?

Oh you kinky girl!
I approve of that. ;-)

See, that was just a special Wrestlemania-week treat. It’d become cliché if they did it all the time.

Meanwhile, back at Smackdown …

Did anybody else wonder what X-Pac was doing in the “meet-n-greet” line when Brockie first entered the building? And is this the first time that we’ve ever actually seen Brock smiling?

“Matt is currently the longest running singles champion on SmackDown.” Clever.

Was that move that Tazz was calling the “Electric Chair” actually supposed to involve Brock dropping Matt onto his neck in quite such an ugly way? With that much referee concern? Ouch. (Brock may be champion, but he still scares me sometimes.)

How old do we suppose Brian Kendrick actually is? I just found a site (wrestlinginformer.net) (with a kinda scary picture -- too much make-up!!) that claims he’s 29 … Not that it matters – he’s a cutie regardless. And he's fun to watch wrestle. (I thought they were going to do something with him & Rey together -- I suppose they decided that Kendrick doesn't actually need the help!)

Benoit / Rhyno was a little heavy on the chops to the chest. Doesn’t Chris’ arm get sore eventually? I’m very glad that they didn’t feel the need to try to turn either of them heel.

Vince on Piper’s Pit did run rather long. Maybe it was intended to set the tone for anybody who had never really seen Piper before. At least we clarified that, even though they both hate each other, they both hate Hogan more.

Sean O’Haire. Looks good in clothes. Looks better out of clothes. Yummy.

Could anybody else tell what the design on the front of Sean O’Haire’s trunks was? (Don’t you try to tell me that you weren’t looking there. Granted, there’s plenty else to look at. But still.)

Tajiri & Rey Mysterio vs. Team Angle was fun. How can you not love Rey?

Don’t know why, but Undertaker talking (too emotionally) to the cops about Nathan somehow reminded me of Austin. Very un-Undertaker-like. (I wonder if we lost a segment in editing or something. It just wasn’t right somehow.)

I still haven’t decided about Cena’s in-ring work. Having annoyed Undertaker so badly (in plotline), he didn’t get to do a whole lot, other than take good advantage of Undertaker’s elbow. (He did that & the coward heel thing well.) I’m curious to see how things go with him & Benoit next week. Hopefully he hasn’t been neglecting ring skills, while perfecting his rhyming. Yo. (*ahem*)

Some of the non-wrestling stuff was a little long, but lots of the in-ring was fun -- overall I enjoyed it.

This is why I am so surprised week to week - I miss all this stuff. I can pick out the stupid color purple on a freakin tablecloth but I miss X-Pac???

I also had no idea what was on Sean's trunks. I was too busy wiping the drool off my chin and eyeing up the Boytoy across the living room. hehehe

What else do you do with an untalented, whiny voiced, can't wrestle, hob of plastic T&A?

Toast - They Live!!! Holy S - I had forgotten about that movie! Piper at his finest no doubt. Always wanted a pair of nifty see through sunglasses. LOL

Well, granted, the bandana was black, not purple. :-) I doubt that it was actually X-Pac -- I'm sure if it were, one of the eagle-eyed boys would have been all over it -- but he looked like X-Pac to me!

Mmmmmm ... boytoys. [/Homer Simpson]
Lucky girl. (And clever Boytoy, that doesn't get insulted over a little ancillary drooling at the TV.) :-)

I feel your pain. Well, yeah, this isn't the Spring Break or GGW capital of the world, but we don't rate UPN either. I know how I'm spending my Easter Saturday night at home though!

I have a question for y'all. Who is this Spanky? I don't think I remember seeing him last time I was home and saw Smackdown, and I think I need to know what to look out for when I'm home this weekend.

I miss my RAW eye candy *sniffles*

'n Happy Birthday Ana - may all your Kurt Angle thoughts continue to be happy. :)

Most important: Spanky == Brian Kendrick. Don't worry, you will not miss Spanky! :-) Even those of us who are partial to big, beautiful, muscular guys can't help but go "Oooooh, he's soooo cuuuuute!" Its like a Golden Retriever puppy -- you just can't help yourself. And on top of that he's a fun wrestler, in that flippy, bouncy, cruiserweight style.

Does this mean you missed him streaking the arena, at Sean O'Haire's urging? Then trying to hide out in Stephanie McMahon's office? That's going into my "keep forever" tape collection!
