Yes, I know I am jinxing them, but 6 Runs in the 8th to overcome the Red Sox. What a game! I had all but given up hope last night. This thing could get closer yet!

So, the Yankees are after Game 1 where they would have been before Game 1 of the series had Torre not decided to use a September call-up to pitch the 9th in Toronto the evening before.
Now, onto the important stuff: Okajima has been a great story for most of the season. However, he's hit the wall, and it is time to go back to the only formula that has ever worked for the Red Sox: Timlin in the 8th, Williamson/Foulke/Papelbon in the 9th.

Clemens isn't a surprise. Look at his body type and his performance the 3 years (1992-94) prior to Jose Canseco arriving in Boston and his performance/body type after Canseco became a teammate.
