Okay, not sure if this was the last episode of the season or not, but good lord, what a way to end a show. Couldn't believe that all he was saying was a figment of his imagination.
There is a precedent. House was shot and lay unconscious for almost an entire episode. He realized his mind was creating a patient case and his daily routine. What we assumed were edits between scenes were actually his brain jumping past mundane events.
Also, the previous season finale involved him working through his mind's inability to smoothly process the information about the bus crash.
House's worst enemy is House. Always has been. He's repeatedly abandoned joy to stay in pain and incisive. He thinks he needs to be miserable, and if this new situation means we'll hear Wilson say this less often, that itself is enough for me.
I'm glad this episode explained away what annoyed me about last week's detox: the brief time span and Cutty's confession about medical school.

No Hulk movie, but Inhumans and Captain Marvel?!! No announcement on Dr. Strange either. Which is sorta weird. Infinity War is not the title I would like to have since it was awful in the comics.
