OK well I saw the movie a few weeks ago. I imagine some people here from the old country have already seen it, and some are about to see it this weekend.

Well what a whole crazy weekend that was. Getting to meet Pegg, Wright, and Frost was a blast. The Fuzztival event was amazing from start to finish. Including free donuts.

Fuzz if I can boil it down to anything simply, is like a love letter to Michael Bay. Or maybe, it's like a Michael Bay movie . . . if a Michael Bay movie was good .

But more than that kind of like Shaun, it kind of made the old thing fun and new again.

So everyone please see this movie. It's two hours of pure, unadultered awesomeness. Great action, great comedy, kill scenes, everything. It's the perfect movie-going experience.

"This shit just got real!"

As good as this is with all the homages to past action films that we've all seen hundreds of times, I fear it will get lost thanks to the Virginia Tech shootings. This really should have been pushed back a week cause I don't think people are ready to go see a movie that's whole concept is that we love violence.

Other then that, I laughed throughout it and I especially loved Simon Pegg's 'Eastwood' voice. This is defineatly worth seeing again just to pick up on the stuff you miss from other movies.

Frost certainly makes for an 'interesting' love interest, to say the least...

It's the little things I like about this film.

Like how on the swear box, every swear word is censored, with the exception of 'cunt'.

I saw this film a few months back, and it's one of the funniest films I've seen in about 5 years. Timothy Dalton is magnificent in it, as well as the two detectives.

I was just amazed that Wright and Pegg managed to make their cop film gorier than their horror film. I don't think I'll ever forget the...

...death by falling church steeple. Just...wow.

That said, I think they outdid themselves. It worked on every level. It's a spot-on satire of/homage to action films. It's insanely hilarious. AND it's a love letter to their fans.

I really think these guys can do no wrong. I need to see it again...now.

Well, it debuted in 6th place, which looking at it's competition in theatres for the weekend I think is about right. Doesn't look like too many people are short-term pretending to change their lifestyles or interests with this tragedy. I'm not sure if that's because these were "adults" and Columbine was children, or if people have finally reached the point where you get numb to mass violence quickly.

Well, it debuted in 6th place, which looking at it's competition in theatres for the weekend I think is about right.

But, it only opened on 825 screens, compared to around 3000 for most of the top 5 movies. If you look at per screen average, it SMOKED everything else out there.

Yes, I looked for it here in the ST Louis area, and its only playing at ONE place, an art house type theater. WTF?

That's strange; it's playing at four theaters here, including all three major multiplexes.

THAT'S who that was! That's funny because I'd see him and immediately think "James Bond. No wait...That's not Pierce Brosnan..." and I TOTALLY couldn't make the connection. Annoyed me to no end.

This was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. I swear, I don't think I stopped laughing through the entire last half-hour of the movie. Just absolutely brilliant.
