According to 411 via the Torch, Raw did a 4.2 on hours of 4.0 and 4.3, with the overrun getting a 5.4.

I think it's an undisputable fact now that the Kane angle has been a ratings winner. It's like the fourth straight week that the overrun has been that strong...

The overrun is the part where ppl tune in expecting to see an animated Pamela Anderson stripping and instead get a giant bald guy getting pushed off a stage, right?

I'll give them credit: Back to back weeks with above 4 rating overall, and 4 or better for each hour. Now, they have 5 weeks to capitalize on this before Monday Night Football and Fall Network Line-ups begin. They've made a good start, whether they can maintain the momentum is the key question.

Will the woman who left her nine infants at Shea Stadium, please pick them up. They already scored six in the first off Tom Glavine, and know more letters of the alphabet than John Franco.

Yeah, because Stripperella is doing AMAZINGLY in the ratings actually.

Caped Boy: Excuse me, ladies. You may remember me as the guy who came to dinner a few weeks ago with underwear on my head. My name is Keith Stat from Milbourne, New Jersey. State bird, the mosquito. And as you may have heard I am recently a crowned class B dungeon-master. So if any of you would like to play D&D today, please speak now or forever hold your peace.
[He chuckles, and there is an awkward silence at the table.]
Caped Boy: Anyone? Alexa!
[Alexa gives him a withering glare.]
Caped Boy: Maybe you would like to join in? We do need a druid, and you have definitely cast a level 5 charm spell on me.
Alexa: In your dreams, douche-bag!
Caped Boy: Douche-bags are hygienic products, I take that as a compliment. Thank you.
[Keith walks off]
Alexa: Ewww!

People know the last ten minutes of the show should be hot (in theory.) I've always taken the over run number as being the number of people who tuned in and out during the show and who came back to see how it ends. (See also, Nitro's over run numbers when the show was followed by... the same Nitro.)

This week's show was a real snoozer. I don't think their four point run will continue next week.

this is 3 out of 4 weeks that RAW has done a 4.2 in tthe ratings.
I think it could continue too! While this wasnt the best RAW it did end hot with the return of Shane Mcmahon and promoted Goldberg vs Ric Flair for next week.
It's been awhile since RAW has done this well. lets hope it continues!

p.s.- go molly holly!

and thats all i have to say about that!

Even though the show is officially scheduled to run until 11:05pm ET, I think anything after 11:00pm is considered over run as far as ratings are calculated.

What I'm most impressed with is the 4.0 first hour. Seems like they have a solid 4.0 people watching the entire show which is a very good to build on.

I don't know about next week, the first 90 minutes was real uneventful. It wasn't bad or awful or offensive or anything just really mediocre, I wonder how it will effect next weeks number... Next weeks match of Goldberg/Flair could go either way. I'm a huge fan of Flair, don't really know if he's a draw anymore and as for Goldberg with the exception of his first TV match vs. Christian in the steelcage I can't really remember him drawing a huge number.

But hey, WWe are in dire need of any positives so this is a nice sign. Let's hope they don't get lazy which I kind of felt from this past weeks show

I would not be shocked if Goldberg/Flair ends up the first hour "Main Event" and the real Main is the continuing saga of Kane once again. It's working, why change it up?

Goldberg had a couple of big numbers earlier this year with the Austin beer bash and the Rock concert. There was the Christian match and, I believe, one other one somewhere. Maybe not.

As for this week's rating, I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I'm just waiting to see when they go ahead and break it again.

Prime Time Wrestling kicked ass on so many levels. Remember when Piper was on for awhile but he and Heenan couldn't get along? Heenan formed his own (terrible) show in the studio down the hall and Piper would go down there and cause havoc.
