Is that a new designation for long threads?

So, exactly how many posts does a thread need to become "Hot"?

Of course, now I can't tell if the so called 'Hot' thread has a new post in it unless there's one with 'New' directly under it.

It's a MINOR INCONVENIENCE, DAMMIT! A MINOR INCONVENIENCE!

So do threads with no responses then become 'Cold'?

People who have the "Show only new posts" flag turned on may notice a subtle difference in the way threads are displayed. Let me know if it's TOO subtle...

I just figured the HOT tag indicated threads I had already posted in.

Argh. I was all ready to go see what the change had been. But then I realized that I'd never even used the 'show new posts only' so I'd never recognize the difference.

I have 'Show new only' under Post Pref checked in my profile, but I can't tell the difference. The 'Hot' tags look the same whether there is a new post in the thread or not. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place, or perhabs can't see the obvious.

Can you please explain?

Titles of threads with no new posts are indented ever so slightly. (Also, the thread link now displays all the old posts in the thread instead of the zero new posts.)
