Hey, I'm still in the "You know, the Packers have a shot at the #6 seed in the NFC" ballpark, so what the hell, bring on the Jets. They'll get a lot of help if Jacksonville and Kansas City keep losing games to crap teams.
"I don't know what is more disquieting -- the fact that the rest of the statue is missing, or that it has four toes."
The Jets are 5-4, they face Chicago (probable loss) this week, and then Houston, Green Bay, Buffalo, Minnesota, Miami, and Oakland. As the Jets themselves helped prove this week, this season has been upset-tastic at times, but I wouldn't say its out of reach for them to go 5-1 over that stretch to finish 10-6 and in wildcard contention.
You believe me, don't you? Please believe what I just said...
I'm under the impression that the NFLPA position on expanding to 18 regular season games is a no, based on mounting evidence of concussions and otherwise having an effect on the long-term health of their members.
