Apparently the medication that he was taking for his Asthma had some sort of Roid in the medicine. Sources say the NFL held back a week before handing the suspension. ON Cowboys week how about that for timing.
Well at least we will have him back for the playoffs.

Well at least we will have him back for the playoffs.
If they held it off another week he would have been out of Game 1 of the playoffs whether they had the bye or not, plus he would have missed the Cowboys whether they suspended him last week or this week. Only question is would you rather have him for a regular season game against Dallas or a playoff game? | CajunMan

I would rather start the suspension last week that way he would be back for the last game of the season for the panthers on New Years Eve.
Anyway I guess what the NFL is saying is that if you have a medical condition you better watch what you take over or behind the counter.
