I don't think J.R. has been as bad as he was when he called both shows and XFL games. He might've got a wee bit burnt out back then. I still prefer Ross to Cole any day of the week. Just because Cole is excited about the product that doesn't make him good. Cole might be a lot younger than Ross but that doesn't make him cooler. The day coolness is judged by Cole is the day I stop watching.
If anyone should be worried about their spot it's Lawler. I think he better watch out with all the changes going on. There are tons of guys who could replace the ninny including Raven, D'lo, my cousin Joe, a fifteen yr. old with terrets who screams puppies every six minutes, ect... Lawler better watch his back.
edited to make me happy:)
(edited by Santa Sangre on 23.7.02 1317) She turned me into a newt!!! I've got better.
I'm all for ousting Lawler, but I dont know who'd be able to take his place.
D'lo has been doing a helluva job on Heat, but I'd rather see him wrestle. Al Snow has had his share of experience on Heat too, but he's all tied up with Tough Enough. Raven there too, but I'd also rather see him wrestle.
My pick is DDP. Hey, try him out on Heat or Velocity. If he can't do it, oh well. But I miss seeing him on my tv, and this would be a great way for him to stay out of retirement without causing more injury to his back.

This story actually sounds really made up. I guess someone wants to read his name on the RossReport.
I think JR is still the man on play by play. He seems to put some real emotion and some humor in it that Cole never does.
Lawler and Tazz is a bit more difficult. Tazz is consistent, but average. There is very few times he makes me laugh or adding anything really interesting. But then again he never really annoys me. On the other hand, Lawler's the total opposite at times I find him extremely witty and funny. But then there are times that he annoys the hell out of me like when he steps all over a wrestlers lines and of course everytime poor Trish comes out he talks about only her chest... Hell amazing is it when Torrie/Molly match the SD announcers put Torrie over more as an athlete then Lawler has ever done for Trish who actually has been wrestler amazingly for a year.
Either Tazz and Lawler could be replace easily. I'm still holding out hope for Cyrus (I still think he's the best colour guy who blends wit and putting stuff over) if they are going in house I really enjoyed Raven's stuff the short time he was on.
I don't get it, everyone loves rats, but they don't want to drink the rats milk?
JR comes down to ringside at the beginning of the show, and proceeds to have a personal announce table built, right in front of the official one. Then he starts announcing over Cole.
Cole: I can't really see what's going on ... I have a cowboy hat in my face here.
Heel JR: You'll have a cowboy boot up your ass if you don't shut up.
Man, that happened three years ago and I still remember it. Funny funny stuff. Gotta give Russo credit with this one. *ducks*
Let me put you in the picture, let me show you what I mean; The Messiah is my sister, ain't no king man, she's my queen.
Tenay is great at playing the professional announcer though. I like his tale of the tape, and showing finishes in slow motion segments he's throwing in as well.

I liked it when he brought out his own announce table in protest. It ended with the table being destroyed in a match.
...full of energy. Multi-orgasmic, if you will, in a cosmic sort of way."
The Tazz/Lawler feud sucked because in the end Lawler won. Two times. When he should have been destroyed the first time out. I remember Tazz cutting the promo of his life about JR when that feud started and being really pumped about it the first couple of weeks. That was, BY FAR, Tazz's best stint in the WWE.
An open letter to Andrew Gilkison from me: Sir, I am no longer pleased with your product and thus will not read it. I am the consumer and your product is not living up to my expectations. I could open up an Andrew Gilkison message board and cry about it, but that's a waste of my time. In the meantime, I would suggest you work on improving your product. Thank you.
Watching RAW and Smackdown doesn't cost anymore than your posts do. And so, like a good consumer, I'm tuning you out.
If Lawler had let Tazz absolutley murder him, it would have got him over in a big way. I thought they were heading for that at Unforgiven when Tazz no-sold 2 piledrivers before collapsing after the third. Tazz's only victory in this feud was this match thanks to another misused ECW guy.

I never thought Goldust was an attempt to embarrass Dusty. I think I remember Dustin saying at the time that he wanted to do something that would be something drastically different than just being "Dusty's kid".
