"At one point, Backlash was supposed to be a double-main event of the New World Order (Hall, X-Pac, and Nash) versus The Rock, Steve Austin, and Hulk Hogan, while Triple H was supposed to take on Hulk Hogan. (Meltzer, 2002) Obviously that has changed, thanks to the injury of Kevin Nash, Rock taking time off, and lack of reaction to Triple H vs. the Undertaker."
Hopefully they were thinking about nWo Vs. Rock, Austin and Kane, because otherwise it would mean that the Hulkster wrestles 2 matches on 1 PPV!
Would anyone really want to see the orange gobblin wrestle twice in 1 night?!
did you see their Smackdown spoilers? In the middle of one promo, it just says "LordsofPain" and the end has a link to jasonx.com. My favorite, though, is "When copying and pasting this news please have the decency to credit the Wrestling Observer newsletter and Mr. Tito"
I liked this show.....wasn't expecting Kane to go into the flames at all in the end. If anything, I was thinking it'd be the end of Shane after two weeks, just like he's always gone after two weeks.....
