As far as Hogan being mainstream, I'm not so sure. Not that the mainstream isn't aware of it, but the general feeling I'm getting is that people are looking at it as a joke, as in "Wrestling is soooo fake, they have an old fossil like Hogan as champion." I heard some DJ talk about how Rock must be a great actor, because he was able to have a staredown with Hogan without bursting out in laughter.
I didn't think the title looked bad. I liked the U.S. flag on there too. I know it's not popular to say because of it's heritage, but I think the Big Gold Belt is ugly. I mean, it's not colorful (kinda bland) and it looks too big on some guys.
