Apparently the consensus is that he's going to job to Gawker on appeal. No idea why, although the tricky thing is that according to Florida law, Gawker has to put up the $115M award before they can appeal, which is probably going to be a problem.

There were a whole bunch of transcripts and documents about the tapes which suggested Hogan was aware he was being taped which might impact the case, but were not released until the jury was making their decision because of the judge's decision. There's enough there that another judge might feel differently.
