I don't know if it's accurate, but the description on the video says this may be Reid Flair's first professional match. That's a pretty good reason for Flair to call in a favor from Hulk, who in turn called in favors from Hart and the Nastys.
Just a guess though.

There's also a theory that Hogan did it since they were filming for Flair's proposed reality show.

Unpossible. Ric Flair's first match was against a broomstick, he bladed 4 times, and he got a **** match from the broomstick.
