Do you still have to deal with Don Cherry and his multi-colored suits that destroy your hi-def TVs? If so, I'll pass.
BTW, the season got off to a good start today for my friend Ray and his team (the NY Rangers) with a victory over the Lighting in Prague. I'm a Devs fan, but I got to admit that this looks like it could be the Rangers year to shine in the east.
I don't think the Rangers are any better than their "pretty good team" of the last three seasons. If anything, I'd say they've taken a step back. Jagr was still their best player even in a down year, and Avery seemed to be a huge component for them. Naslund is no upgrade and Redden stinks.
Too rich for my blood and I already own an authentic Martin Brodeur Team Canada jersey from 2002 (not game worn, though). The bids for different players are interesting but not surprising. Mario Lemieux leads the way with $3,850.
