| #1 Posted on 2.4.03 1253.07 | I was looking at the HITC matches over the years and I noticed that beside the first one between Undertaker and HBK when it was brand new, every one-on-one HITC match has matched up a HITC veteran with a HITC rookie. Taker was the veteran against Foley, Bossman, and Lesnar, Foley was the veteran against HHH, and HHH was the veteran against Jericho. And Bossman was the veteran against Al, but let's try to forget about that.
So does anyone think they'll ever break the pattern by matching up two guys who both have experience in HITC? HBK v Y2J, for instance?
Alternately, do you think they'll throw two HITC rookies together ever again, like HBK/Taker were the first time?
If not, considering the physical condition of most of the HITC veterans, HHH, Jericho and Lesnar seem like the most likely candidates to pass on the HITC tradition...

If Taker ever has a "farewell" match, it'll probably be Hell in a Cell (a la HHH/Foley). If they ever do a heated Goldberg/Austin program, the Cell might be a good blowoff. That would be your two Hell in The Cell rookies right there.

With Austin's knees/back/neck, I doubt that he would go into a HITC match. And, the other person; with his propensity for injuring himself/other people, is not the person who you could trust putting in that type match.

Also, Austin has been in HITC at Armageddon 2000.

Oh, whoops...forgot about that one. I never watched that PPV. On another note, I know it wasn't technically a Hell in the Cell match, but didn't the Cell get lowered onto Austin and Kane in their match at KOR 98?
OK, so two Cell rookies, let's see...
Benoit vs. Rhyno?

Left some words out of my post...fixed now. I was referring to the First Blood match from 98.
I'm having an off day...particularly in this thread.

| #10 Posted on 2.4.03 1541.33 | While I agree that they would never do a 6-man HIAC again, (which I always thought was a bad idea to begin with), Elimination Chamber is not set up for one-on-one matches.
I hope they raise the roof before they try to use the Chamber again. Those mini-chambers would be great for top-turnbuckle-type spots if the roof was about a foot higher.

| #11 Posted on 2.4.03 1555.19 | The HIAC shouldn't be used again until the WWE develops a feud worthy of HIAC, which they haven't done since HHH-Cactus Jack in 2000 (and maybe Austin-HHH in 2001 could have warranted it). HIAC should only be used for long-running blood feuds, which the WWE has been incapable of creating for the past 2 years.

Torrie Wilson/Dawn Marie? Fighting over a father's love? NOW THAT'S A FEUD, BROTHA!
Here's a list of everyone that's been in a Hell in a Cell match....
* Shawn Michaels * Undertaker * Mick Foley * Kane * Big Boss Man * Al Snow * Kurt Angle * Triple H * Steve Austin * The Rock * Chris Jericho * Brock Lesnar
They should just have one big 12-man Hell in the Cell supermatch someday. The only guy on this list who is truly retired in Foley.

| #13 Posted on 3.4.03 0108.42 | Instant Rating: 2.59 | I love Hell in a Cell, Taker/Brock was great for them to use it, so its not been a total wash out. Y2J/HHH was a joke. I was hoping Jericho would just push Hunter off the top by "accident". After viewing the Elemination Chamber in person, its awe inspiring yet boring. It could be the fact that Jericho eleminated all the faces expect Shawn, so the crowd died as soon as Booker, Kane and RVD left. I will say Shawn is a workhorse after taking those bumps. He really did deserve the title that night. In hindsight I'd have anyone else but HHH/HBK at the end though, maybe HBK and Jericho. It was cool to see live, but HitC is a stable of the WWE and if I had a choice, I'd rather never see the Chamber again.
