It doesn't matter who you are....once you've heard Wang Chung say "Good gracious, ass bodacious" on television, then you, my friend, have just lived the greatest moment of your life.

The Wang Chung and Cameo covers were inspired. Hearing Cameo launch into 1985 was great.

It reminded me of the old, sadly short-lived VH1 game show Cover Wars. In one segment, each cover band had to redo various songs in different styles. "OK, do '1985' as a funk song" would have fit right in.

HoJo is always terrific. Don't miss the chance to see him live.

Looking forward to Greg Kihn.

Does anyone know where I can snag mp3s of the covers from this show? Or of sites with recaps (or mp3s) from the British version?

I am assuming so. IIRC, the first four episodes ran concurrently over the course of, well, 24 hours, so a 2 hour season finale is certainly not out of the question, as your math is certainly correct.
