I opted to skip it last night as I had NO interest in any of the acts. I watched Smackdown in stead. Yes, Smackdown. I was entertained, too. My FIANCEE even watched it with me, and the only unkind word she had was during the catfight: "Oh, THIS is intelligent." I love her. ;-)
Anyone watch Hit Me last night? Did I miss anything good? I went to their website and see that PM Dawn won. Sorry I missed it. Juice looks haggard, too.

I watched it as my TV listings said that The Fixx was going to be performing...instead I got no...umm Fixx fix.

Juice sounded OK, and I thought looked OK all things considered...it's been quite a while.

I thought PM Dawn were awful...but that's just my opinion.

Animotion were OK...but the guy really overdid it...if he was going for cheesy he hit the mark.

Shannon was OK, and Missing Persons sucked, sucked, sucked.

My opinion, Juice shoulda won. The poll on the website currently agrees with me.

PM Dawn's version of "Blurry" was fantastic. Took a very generic rocker and really made something of it. Not that I'm surprised, since they've done great things with rock songs in the past (their version of "Norwegian Wood" is the best Beatle remake ever. EVER!).

The other cover songs were "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" by Missing Persons (they should have slowed it down; the beat was too fast for Dale's style); "Days Go By" by Animotion; "Pieces Of Me" by Juice Newton; and "Foolish" by Shannon. Nothing to write home about, really.

The performances I really liked from the show (I missed the first couple) were "Blurry", "1985", "White Flag", and "Thank You".

Um, did you really expect Nacho Libre to worry about details?
