I can only wait to hear about the end of WCW.

There's a Youtube video featuring seven minutes of deleted scenes, featuring Cena, Wahoo MacDaniels, and more!

It looks to be really awesome, but...couldn't they have waited a few weeks for that shiner to disappear?

The youtube video link is HERE.

I would not be surprised if this is "1st in a series" and we don't get anything about WCW/Bischoff until volume 2 or later.

Can it be more informative than his book?

Well, the book was published by the WWE. When a book is released under their banner, I often wonder if I'm reading the true story or a Vince version. I remember reading somewhere that the WWE wanted to make some serious changes to Bret's book if they were to publish it.

This interview, I think, will be a lot better than the book.

Supposedly HighSpots paid $50, 000 for the shoot.

They shot him for three full working days over a three week period. Their intention is to release a three-disc set that will be available in stores and a four-disc set that will only be avilable on their web-site. They are taking pre-orders for $24.95 and $29.95. Their target date is the middle of November.

They covered his entire career. In their blog they have specifically said that some stories that repeat material are being cut to make room for new material and untold stories.

$50K? You think they'll get their money back?

Anyone know how that profit model is supposed to work?

My own personal opinion is that the figure is inflated by mutual agreement because it allows Flair to charge more for personal appearances and it encourages sales of the DVD.

Sell 3000 copies at $25 each and break even?

Very interesting and surprising comments about Cena. Anyone know why these scenes were deleted?

I'm torn. Part of me says Flair has sunk pretty low to do an IWC shoot-interview DVD already. That almost puts him with the likes of The Honky Tonk Man, New Jack, and The Sandman in my mind. Then another part of me says "This guy got paid $50k for 3 days work over 3 weeks, where can I get me some of that!"

Well, given the recent divorce and the closing of "ric flair financial," a quick influx of capital may be a good thing for him.

So now I'm curious -- what *did* Flair say about Cena?

The comments are in the Youtube video linked in the first post. In short, Flair has a lot of praise for him and says he might be the greatest performer around today, though he's not the greatest 'worker'.

Thanks. Watching the video won't do anything for me until someone invents closed captioning for Youtube.

My guess is they are deleted because they aren't considered juicy enough. Who want's to hear that he thinks Cena, Taker, Shawn and HHH are great? That Wahoo was pimp? I find it interesting hearing all that...but in terms of selling DVD's....that information isn't a draw.

Drew has finally started to develop a moveset. The rebound boot and knee neckbreaker are fine hits to set up the Future Shock. Speaking of improvements, that may well have been McCool's best showing yet.
