The Jim Henson's iPod Babies are cute but not as cute as the 40 GB Mr. Santa gave me. Only 4 GB, I guess that's for people who don't even like music.

I have to hold my horses and see if .Mac members will eventually get a discount on iLife. Maybe only for a week though. I need Garage Band for PAINFUL LOOP-BASED NOODLING.

GarageBand looks a lot like Sonic Foundry's Acid. I think it's Sonic Foundry... I can check at home later. They still send me AcidPlanet newsletters. The 1000s of pre-played instruments is intriguing - is that just a midi soundbank?

I always enjoy Crazy Apple Rumors' recap of the keynote.

Only a $50 difference between 4 and 15 gigs? They might want to rethink that.

GarageBand looks like a lot of fun. I'm hoping they do another education discount. Last year I got ILife and Keynote for $15.

Far too much Ian Robinson for my tastes, though.

Those little buggers certainly would've looked neater with big ol' googly eyeballs.

(As I make another mark in the "MST3K fans on the Weinerboard" column and am reminded why I like it here so much)

Sometimes I'm unnerved when I see a tie such as this one and have NO IDEA how it ended up in the pile.
