Originally posted by TorchslasherIt would be just my luck with having Smackdown tickets for the Philly show next week (damn you WWF for giving Smackdown to Vince "Sports Entertainment" McMahon), that Steph will lose on Monday, and then say that she would only have to stay off of Raw. Then Vince can bring her out on Smackdown at the First Union Center, and we can all groan our disapproval once again. Then again if she does leave next week, we will probably get the debut at Smackdown of HHH's younger brother "Brian Gewertz."
If Vince pulls that b.s., then I'll stick to watching RAW....However the stip was made clear that Steph would have to leave the WWF "forever". I know that stip is never followed in wrestling, but I'll glady take at least a few months free of the Screeching Demon known as Stephanie McMahon.
Jericho's not going to turn as a result of this. Look at the sheer mathematics of the divisions. On the main event face side we have HHH, Austin, Hogan and Rock. On the heel side we have Hall, Nash, Taker and Angle. True, that's four and four, but Taker will probably end up continuing to be Flair's main antangonist on RAW, so that means Jericho will have to remain a heel to even off the Smackdown side of the ledger.
While certainly, any angle that involves Jericho getting Steph off my TV would make me lionize him even more, it ain't gonna happen. It's going to be H that puts her off TV with the general result being that the Smartest Man in Wrestling will soak up more cheers.
Doesn't even need to be a Foley bump to be impressive -- remember Lesnar/Taker 2002. I'm hoping for a repeat of that, because it'd be one good thing to take away from this sorry-looking show. Anyway: Lashley over Sacrificial Lambs #1 and 2.
