Talking to people in the stands is one thing; their decisions don't effect the outcome of the game. Talking to the manager takes time away from the game and could lead to the team losing. That crosses the line, in my opinion.
So, Brain, what do you want to do tonight?
The same thing we do every night, Pinky: Try to take over the world!

Football coaches I can understand, but In Baseball its not like the manager calls every pitch. Its seems like sometimes Joe Torre manages a whole game without even getting up.
"I want what you want. Yes, that's it Mr. Anderson. Look past the flesh, look through the soft gelatin of these dull cow eyes and see your enemy."

BTW, if I didn't mention it in one of the many PETCO threads, I love the edge of the warehouse being the fair pole. That's pretty spiffy.
Yeah, I read about this the other day..that ESPN had an agreement with MLB to talk with players/coaches in-game. But the way I understood it would be more like, for example, talking to the starting pitcher AFTER he came out of the game, like in the seventh inning or something when the reliever was in.
I wonder if the agreement will stay in place if it continues to be more intrusive than the above example.
