Habs fans (and the Habs themselves, apparently) are hilarious in the absurd pressure they put on themselves. The Canadiens have a perfectly good playoff-worthy team, yet everyone in Montreal seems to have worked themselves up in a lather that they MUST win the Cup THIS YEAR just because it's the centennial. It's like Cubs fans believing that 2008 was the year the Cubs would finally win the Series since it was a round 100 years since the last title.
At what point does Habs management start pointing the finger at Gainey?
Kirk, crackers are a family food. Happy families. Maybe single people eat crackers, we don't know. Frankly, we don't want to know. It's a market we can do without.
Other than New Jersey (which doesn't really count), when was the last time a "small market" team won the Cup? Detroit and Colorado both have deep pockets and spend freely. Dallas? How much $$$ does Tom Hicks have? Ask Alex Rodriguez.
