I'm happy Kristen Bell is getting such a high profile role on a HIT network TV series. She told TV Guide she took Heroes over Lost because she has a lot of friends who work on Heroes, heard great things about working for Tim Kring, and she didn't want to relocate to Oahu (personal note: she's nuts!). She deserves a wider audience because she's great. AND I'm happy to hear she suspects she'll be a villain, which she hasn't played yet, and she's apparently in a storyline with the Bennetts, my favorites along with the Petrellis. Kristen Bell and (just legal) Hayden Panetierre in scenes together will be... enjoyable. I'd hate to have had Kristen stuck listening to Mohinder drone on for her multi-episode arc.
But here we go with the Heroes overhyping again. How is Heroes "on a roll"? They had a lackluster season finale that was met with a great deal of disappointment and left many die hards disgruntled. That was the first example of many fans starting to realize the Heroes emperor has no clothes. All summer long they have been casting and casting and casting, announcing new castmembers constantly so it seems like there are 735 people on the cast now. Good actors coming on board is always a good thing but my beef with Heroes has always been with its writing, so I'm a little wary of news of quality actors coming on board to say and do the dumbass things Heroes has become infamous for with its non-true believers. I hope the writing on the show is getting an overhaul. Maybe we should see how season 2 actually plays before we start overhyping what's already the most overhyped show on television.
Oh yeah, and she got beaten, sustained brain damage and she and her brother were fed to the pigs. That was great. Man, I miss those Deadwood cocksuckers.
Well John, its no Angel (and the season finale's Sylar/Peter fight blew) but Hiro going back in time, and all the new additions will be fun because there will be less time for nonsense like super stripper.
Yes, "on a roll" may have been pushing it more than a bit, but Veronica FREAKIN Mars is back on my TV and that's enough to send many a dork into hyperbole.
So I take it she won't be the permanent narrator for Gossip Girl...which I'm totally OK with, by the way. I don't want her going anywhere near the CW after how they treated VMars. Yes, I know they gave it a third (partial) season, but then they just let it hang out there with no promotion.
Orquiola, you're killing me with that news that Kristen could've been on Lost. That would've been beyond awesome. Time to resort to my plan B hopes, where Enrico Colantoni is Jacob, Jessica Walter is Juliet's mom and Alexis Denisof is one of the people on Naomi's boat. Just turn Lost into a repository for actors I like on shows that were cancelled before their time.
How hard it is to be a narrator, anyway? Couldn't she literally phone in her role on Gossip Girl?

Oh well... he can continue to make his stupid Die Hard sequels and he is locked in for GI Joe 3. I remember that episode of "Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis" where Zach asked Bruce, "Did you know that some actors turn down roles?...
