Ladies and gentlemen, the following public service message is brought to you by your friends from D-Generation X, who would like to remind each and every one of you that if you're not down with that, we've got two words for you...

That's the logical conclusion. The Company obviously realized that Niki & Jessica had the potential to be an unstoppable force together, so they took drastic measures to separate & neutralize them. Jessica got the Haitian mindwipe and was deposited with a Bennett-style foster family that gave her a new name, while Niki was probably taken in for experimentation that got a little too overzealous, which led to the development of her multiple personalities.

One thing's for sure:

Spoiler Below: Highlight text to read
Niki definitely died in that explosion at the end of last season. I've seen spoiler vidcaps of her charred body being placed in a body bag and a dirty Monica & Micah looking on in saddened disbelief on someone's blog. So Tracy is definitely not the Niki we knew.

Also, according to a blurb on one of the Wikipedia pages (so take it with a grain of salt), the Haitian will reappear next week as part of the Hiro & Ando storyline.

While the switch from Cena to RVD should alleviate some complaints, the inevitability of the belt's return to Cena (note where Summerslam is this year) and the poor initial showing by the new ECW are enough to keep the indicator where it is for now. The pieces are in place, though, especially on RAW, for improvements to be made to the IWC's psyche in the near future.

I agree with a lot of the complaints but since it's a comic book tv show I use comic book logic. If people (Like Hiro)didn't do stupid things there wouldn't be much of a plot.
Also did they ever tell us what Weevil's power is? The guy that sort of looks like Kane shoots fire. The German controls magnetics. The other guy uses peoples fear to give him power (that one will be cheesy). But what does Weevil do?

They're still keeping a lid on what the character can do (I think they called him Jesse), but Bennett indicated that it was something pretty awful.

I think his file said "sound manipulation".

Linderman is still nice & dead, and Nathan is hallucinating him. Look for interaction between Linderman and anyone else - there isn't any. Claire's blood is what healed Nathan from when he was fried earlier.

    That's my guess, anyway.

I thought that was made pretty obvious by the nurse at the end of the episode and when he came out and told Nathan that.

As I said, Future Peter had few options if he wanted to stow Present Peter away while he went about his business, since PP could just teleport/fly/walk through walls/etc. in order to get back to Nathan.

So, placing his consciousness in another person's body actually makes a weird kind of sense ... Peter's powers don't work like Sylar's, where he studies each person's individual ability and then retains those "instructions" within his memory; I'm led to believe that Peter actually absorbs those abilities into his body (through the adrenal glands, mayhaps?) and - now that he's been seperated from his body - he can't call upon those powers any longer.

Parquet Wishes and Leprechaun Dreams

The most hilarious thing about Tommy Dreamer is that everyone else in WWE, from Shelton Benjamin to dudes who haven't even debuted yet, has a T-shirt available. WWE doesn't even bother printing up a T-shirt for Tommy Dreamer, A MAN WHOSE GIMMICK IS WEARING A T-SHIRT WHILE WRESTLING. And why is that? Because not a god damn person would ever pay money for a Tommy Dreamer shirt. Not even his own mother. As a result he usually ends up wearing a shirt that says "WRESTLEMANIA 24" or "JUDGEMENT DAY." I think it's time for Tommy Dreamer to just print up a T-shirt that says "UPCOMING PAY PER VIEW"

I agree that things were very confusing and if you didn't like it, it's easy to really not like it at all.

There were indeed some pretty big logical jumps but like said already, it's a comic book series, so stupid things happen.

I thought that earlier in the series it was kinda obvious (for an episode or two) that Mohinder wanted special powers too.
So I understand why he jumps at the chance.
I also figured that he received beastial (spidey) like powers, including feromones that made Maya (who might be useless but looks great) get the hots for him.

Peter is Peter and a complete idiot. And just like future hero became more serious, I guess future Peter became very bitter. Just like Claire btw. Wonder how that is gonna play out.

Niki and Tracey are not the same. Totally different type of powers, and it would be impossible for her to have been working for the politician while doing her Vegas thing.
Even with a split personality.

I have no problem btw with them ripping powers from existing characters and such, because let's face it.
Any power imaginable does exist on at least one character in either the DC or Marvel universes. So it is not possible to not rip off something.

Seeing Weevil rocked.
And Bennett ruled, the way he was sitting really relaxed at home and explained things to his darling daughter while being a fugitive.

This is not a valid defense. Its these types of logic-jumps that got me to give up on comics in the first place. (Well, that, and the sky-rocketing prices.) Shitty writing is shitty writing, regardless of the medium, and should not be tolerated.

Oh I agree, but in a world where people can fly, teleport, have multiple personalities that can rip people apart and what not, I am more likely to forgive some flaws than in a series where everything is 100% (or close to it) possible and plausible. I expect shitty writing. Maybe I even -want- shitty writing.

Heroes to me is a 'popcorn movie' where I throw logic out of the window and just enjoy things.

It was. Linderman directly said to Nathan that he was the only one who could see him.

I watched this on tape over two nights. We watched the stupid pre-show and then the first hour and I thought my head was going to explode, so we stopped. Watched the second hour and we still feel the same way. I don't think we're giving up on it yet, but I am very confused with some of the seemingly illogical things that have happened, but we will give it a chance to play out.

I finally finished watching the premier last night, and I might be done with this show. I don't mind the overall plot, it is interesting, but the writing has become so corny and cliched. I am a comics geek, but most modern comics aren't written better than this. Every line of dialog by Claire (and Peter, some what) made me cringe.

And sweaty, horny Mohinder isn't helping things either.

Last season made me mad. This season makes me laugh. It's still terrible, but it's enjoyably terrible.

My bad. I didn't realize I had flat out missed that part of the show. Managed to watch the ending this morning and saw the reveal. DOH.

I watched the film today, owing to my hetero man-crush on Michael Cera. He is as good as ever, and Kat Dennings knows how to keep up with him. The actress who plays Kat's friend is also very good, and is a very believable drunk.
