Aw man, Bennet tying up Veronica was one of the best scenes ever. T'ank god he's not dead. CLAIRE VS ELLE ANTICIPATION STATION.

This stuff all came together pretty awesomely -- Adam Monroe being Takezo Kensei is a pretty nifty twist all things considered, and 'props' to whoever correctly predicted Hiro Sr's cause of death way back when. It's unfortunate that feudal Japan and Claire/West were so boring just to get us to this point, but it be's that way sometimes. Sylar can right all the past wrongs by killing the black plague twins soon.

Finally, after a lifetime of comic books and pro wrestling, I call a plot twist! Usually I'm the guy who sits there saying, "Whoa, I didn't see that coming."

What an awesome episode. West is actually not a complete doorknob or a company plant. Hiro and Kaito's final conversation was touching. The way the final showdown was timed was just brilliant.

I just wonder how everything can be tied up in the two remaining episodes.

That was fantastic. And my fiance totally called the Bennet resurrection - which is great, because I'd be totally pissed off if they killed the best character. Still, that was a really excellent death scene. There's so much stuff to do in the next two episodes, it makes me wonder what they're going to have to leave unfinished until next season.

This is not a spoiler, just my wild guess based off the end of the episode and preview.

Spoiler Below: Highlight text to read
Peter and Adam saved Noah, and this will now pit Hiro against Peter.

Great episode, but a couple of questions ...

(1) Did Nakamura Sr. know that Adam was actually Takezo Kensei (the hero whose tales he regaled his young son with), or was he totally in the dark about that? Also, if this "Adam" was around during the 70s and saw his son Hiro running around, why didn't he just kill the kid then to prevent him from eventually going into the past and wrecking his life (unless Hiro is a common name and he didn't put two and two together, which seems unlikely considering the super-powered company he found himself in)?

(2) When Bennett had Elle tied up, he first said that Bob couldn't be trusted because he willingly experimented on his own daughter, but in the next breath he says that you'd be surprised what a father would do for his child ... so which is it? That seemed pretty contradictory to me, like he was telling her that she can't trust her father because he put her in harm's way, but then immediately saying that he would do anything to protect her.

Anyone else get the vibe that Elle and Claire are both sisters? Claire was found in a burned down house/building when she was a baby and Elle told Peter that she burned down her house when she was a little girl. Makes Claire's mom fire powers now look like something to throw us off the trail. When Noah mentioned to Elle that her memory had been erased and gave her that line about what "fathers will for do their daughters" the light bulb went off in my head. So putting things together I think it's plausible Claire and Elle are sisters and that she isn't Bob's real daughter.

I enjoyed last night's episode, but I'm still concerned that the show might have jumped the shark last night. Not because anything was wrong with the episode, but because we now seem to have established that as long as some of Claire's (and probably Adam's) blood is on a shelf somewhere, no one can die! Shot? Stabbed? Contracted a lethal virus? Just step into the company lab, and all will be well. Now, of course, not everybody will have access to that, but I suspect it will be damn hard to ever give us a death scene we'll care about from here on in. Not to mention that we'll have a lot of "hey, why don't they give him a magic blood transfusion?" plot holes.

Still, the actual death and resurrection of Noah were very cool. I also dug Elle being shortcircuited and Parkman learning to use Jedi Mind Tricks. Wasn't so hot on Hiro meeting himself as a child (although it was cute to have the kid say "I am Kensei" and big Hiro say "Yes, you are.")

Goon, I don't think we had heard of the woman before. The name was something like "Veronica Pratt".

Ffej, interesting point. I certainly would think Elle isn't Bob's biological daughter, but the idea that they're sisters would be interesting.

I'm pretty sure the sticky read "Victoria Pratt"...I don't recall hearing it on the show before.

In the episode where Nakamura Sr. gives Claire to HRG, Hiro is 10, that is supposedly 13 years ago from the beginning of series and there's been maybe a year since then. That makes Hiro about 24, even if that's a few years off Adam was locked away for thirty years.

I LURVE BENNETT EPISODES!!!!

The whole episode I was thinking, "they're building to Bennett's death," but then I kept thinking "what if Claire's blood can save him?" and lo and behold THEY DID IT!!! The Company TOTALLY resurrected Bennett. Not only was he in one of their cells, but they telegraphed it with the bag of blood they drew from Claire before the hostage switch. Still, I wasn't sure if they would do it, and I'm glad they did.

The whole "Hiro comes to terms with his father's death" plot as paralell to Claire deals with her father's death plot was cliche but done decently enough. Hiro meeting kid Hiro only to discover he was acting childish was trite.

Even if Adam/Kensei was able to find kid Hiro as a kid, he has to know he can't touch Hiro before he goes back in time, as that messes up the time line. I'm curious to find out what Adam has done during the intervening 300 years... This can't ALL be about Hiro for him.

I also liked how Mohinder is established as the only good guy on the show. "Your moral compass always points North". They did a really good job setting up Mohinder v. Bennett. They also did a good job turning Claire against her father. I look forward to the rematch and the reunion, respectively.

For once, West wasn't acting like a complete douche. I liked Bennett's reaching out to the kid. I almost wouldn't mind the two of them teaming up weekly to thwart the Company.

I'll buy into the theory that Claire and Elle are sisters, but I don't know how much I'm willing to discard the premise that Claire's mom didn't start the fire. That said, when Bennett played the "you don't remember" card on Elle, that was all sorts of awesome! Haitian for the win!!!!

Best episode since Company Man. Bennett rules all.

Is it completely clear who gave Bennett Claire's blood? Maybe Mohinder shot Bennett with the plan of resurrecting him.

Also, where was the Haitian during all of this? Did I miss something?

Question;
When interviewing Mom Petrelli, Parkman did not know the name of the woman yet, right?
If so...
She told him to not make her reveal the secret or he would be just as bad as his dad.

So later we see her name. This means he did force her to reveal it and thus he's just as much a jerk as his father.

I liked the episode a lot.
I still half expected West to do a Russo swerve and be in cohoots with the company after all, but it was cool to see that didn't happen.
Mohinder shooting HRG was insane. I knew it could happen but didn't expect it anymore. Very well done.

Well, if it makes you feel any better. The shows weren't planned to be as good as the last few have been.

IIRC from spoilers, THIS episode was supposed to center around Sylar and the Wonder Twins traveling again, with Sylar coming between them, while they argue in subtitle-world again...

So the writer's strike may be ending the season sooner, but at least the show is more than "watchable" lately, it's been back to how good it was last year.
