I wonder if Sylar ever asks himself how in the hell he ended up in the middle of a telenovela. "Maya, the Woman of a Thousand Black Tears."
I take it Victoria Pratt was the Company's version of Mohinder, the non-powered scientist of the old guard.
Sylar and Maya got from a motel in North Carolina to Mohinder and Matt's apartment in a day without anyone coming after them for the corpse of Alejandro in Sylar's motel room. Sure.
The New Orleans stuff really sucks. "Oh, so that's why Clark Kent wears those glasses!" Jesus.
There's homage and then there's outright ripping shit off. You can argue last year's main storyline was an homage to Watchmen. Adam Monroe as a 400 year old Immortal can only die if his head is cut off is ripping shit off.
I liked one armed Elle fucking up her watchdog duty and trying to start her car with her left arm. We're probably not getting the Claire vs. Elle throwdown this season but a Heroes Divas match is long overdue and these are the two the people wanna see go at it.
Next week two Heroes fall. One of them might be Nathan Petrelli, who hasn't been around much at all. Or it might be West. Or Adam. (It won't be Claire.) Don't need two of the same power on the show forever.
I hope Sylar doesn't kill Maya. He seems to be doing a fine job brainwashing her, and I like him with a protoge/girlfriend.
Elle vs. the car was a fun moment.
Shouldn't Micah's comic have depicted St. Joan getting abducted? Maybe he didn't get the chance to finish it before it was stolen?
Good call on Victoria being proto-Mohinder. I don't see how he can be so gullible. I'd trust the guy who got dicked over by the company before I'd trust the guy running the company. Still, at least we know that he saved Bennett. But did he tell Bob that he saved Bennett, or did Bob legitimately think he gave Bennett's remains to his family?
Adam and Claire need to face off... "There can be only one!"
Hiro vs. Peter looks like it should be a good fight, but the way this show goes, I have a feeling that we won't get much out of it. I suppose since Peter can nullify Hiro's time-stopping power, it should be a quick fight. I hope Hiro's not one of the 'two who fall'.
Young George Takei was funny. They should maybe limit traveling to the past like that.
You believe me, don't you? Please believe what I just said...
If Hiro's Dad and Victoria looked like they did in 1977, how come they look like their older selves in the company picture (which Adam is in as well)? Wormhole? Work release for Adam? Laziness on the behalf of the writers? You decide!
Every time Bob is on the screen, I crack jokes about his power. Like when Mrs. Bennett was pointing a gun at him, my response was "I wouldn't do that; I can turn the bullets to GOLD."
I became very angry again when Nikki said not to be a hero, because that's what got DL killed. NO, NO IT IS NOT. IT WAS NIKKI/JESSICA BEING A WHORE. GOD! Why the HELL did they even have that as how DL died if Nikki was supposed to come away from it with a "don't be a hero" philosophy? Wouldn't that have been accomplished by DL dying at the Plaza?
Why didn't St. Joan lady jump off the balcony to leave the house?
I think the problem with Peter is that he spent too much time around Mohinder, and picked up Mohinder's power of gullibility.

Actually, the timeline's always been a little loose on this show. We don't actually know how long it was between the scene in the hotel room and Sylar showing up in New York. It was at least long enough for Mohinder to take Bennet's remains back to Company HQ, revive him, and develop a more powerful virus antigen from Claire's blood. I'd buy that it took a couple of days to do all that.

Don't forget he's also an immortal who wants to cull most of the world's population because of disease, hunger, and crime, as he revealed in the flashback sequence. So not only is he a Highlander, he's also playing Ra's al Ghul.

Wait, Adam's not in that picture ... is he?
Ah, crap. I could have sworn he was, but a quick look at HeroesWiki says I'm full of shit.
I'd like to know why Hiro's dad was so young in the flashback/time travel to 30 years ago, but looked exactly the same in the flashback/time travel to 20 years ago at his wife's funeral from a few weeks ago.
I guess working for the company really ages a guy.

Gotta disagree with you there, mainly because it's not the cutting the head off, its destroying the brain. Note that Joanna Cassidy said BLOW his head off, not cut it off. Based on what we've seen so far, I'd say odds are if you cut Adam or Claire's head off, they'd grow a new body (now wouldn't that be a neat twist for the fate of Adam in the finale).
I didn't get why they went the young actor route at all- we've already seen George Takai play Kaito 20 odd years ago a bunch of times, what's another 10 years?

I'm guessing this was just a case of a late-season reshoot that they couldn't get George Takai for.

Yup. remember Claire and the branch(?) entering her brain, stopping her powers. Once they removed the stump she started regenerating. So I guess if you destroy the brain they do die.
Sylar was awesome in this episode. All kinds of evil. Every time I wonder if maybe he isn't all bad and that maybe he is concerned about Maya but then he just glares and I just cackle. I like how Maya sees him as a savior and is oblivious to his true character.
I think Nathan and and Parkman get it next week. Wishful thinking would be Parkman and Suresh, but is Mohinder even a "Hero"? Just as long as it's not Elle!
"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ."
I deduced from the trailer for next week that something happens to Hiro. The only shot of him is the sword charge. And then Adam tells Peter "Let's go" while Peter is looking down at someone or something. Whether this means he's killed or just incapacitated I don't know.
This episode was kind of a mess after the last two good episodes, but I'll chalk that up to rewrites.

Have there been rewrites? I haven't heard, but I know that Kring apologized for the crappy first half of the season, and promised to rectify. But did they actually rewrite the scripts for the last few episodes?

I'll have to find a source, but the last thing I remember reading was Kring saying they had talked about rewriting the last episode of the chapter to wrap things up more due to the strike, but that he didn't do in support of the strike.
