You know, I think it's time to let the whole state go. If we saw straight across from Georgia, it'll drift right out into the sea with little or no hassle. Sure, I'll miss Disneyworld and Randy "Macho Man" Savage, too, but that's just a price we're going to have to pay.
And, while we're at it, can we please give Texas back to Mexico?

| #2 Posted on 8.11.02 1139.40 | I agree...I'll miss Disney...not so sure about Macho Man though.
This is just abysmal...it's going to be many many years of problem free elections, before this goes away. Until there is a string of elections with no problems, no election is going to be considered legit, no matter which party wins.
FIX IT!!!!....sorry....I'm just sick of hearing about how they can't get this right.
FYI - I couldn't get your link to work right, here is a different link to the same story.

| #3 Posted on 8.11.02 1159.28 | Well, While I agree that this voting foul-up BS is bad... I think it is KIND OF excusable in this case. It was the first election with the brand new touch-screens, and there was bound to be some problems. It could have been a lot worse. I am interested to see if they can fix the problem by 2004...

There was not a "test period" or anything like that to make sure the damn things were functional before purchasing a bunch of them. To borrow a Greenspanism, it was election machine irrational exuberance, though in Florida epsecially something had to be done. | Scott Summets

Ummm..... Macho Man lives in Georgia I'm pretty sure. I live near the two richest neighborhoods around Atlanta, and I see a lot of the old WCW stars around and about, and I've seen Macho getting gas at the local QT. I'm pretty sure he does live here (in Georgia).

No comprendo porque quiero dar al Tejas a los mexicanos cuando sabemos contar, no como Florida. Además, México ha llegado aquí, tan no es necesario para Tejas ir allí.

When I was a kid, I remember him being announced as from Sarasota, Florida, but I admit I have no idea where he lives nowadays.
I also always forget that the politics forum is a part of a larger wrestling board, and that Randy "Macho Man" Savage isn't as hilarious a reference as when you're not talking to a bunch of wrestling fans.
