I hate asking for help like this, especially when the only details I can give are vague, but this is my last resort.

I'm trying to figure out the name of a song, but I have no idea what it is. I don't know any of the lyrics. I know only three things about it:

1) It's extremely catchy, and I can't get it out of my head after I've heard it.

2) It's in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

3) It's in a new Lincoln-Mercury car commercial.

Any help that can be given would be greatly appreciated.

With that info, the best I can suggest is you look through a list of music in the GTA:VC game, and see if anything rings a bell.

On a totally unrelated note: has anybody noticed the music NBC's been using in its promos for its upcoming reality series, "The Next Action Star?"

It's the Hardyz' old entrance music, last used by Jeff. Public domain much, Vince?

(EDIT: Yeah, it's not exactly unprecedented, CRZ. But I can't recall hearing stuff I recognized as "public domain" on WWE programming in some time...or songs used by WWE somewhere else, thus revealing themselves as "public domain." It's been awhile...unless I'm missing something.)

This is news to you? The WWE, like WCW before them, have used and do use a lot of "semi public" commercial music.

I vaguely remember a thread like this on he ezboard, and one dude actually linked some semi-public songs for us. I remember Booker T's and the Hurricanes songs being there.

The Chappelle's Show ads have had the old Hurricane music in them, and they have been running for two years now.

My job entails music research and WWE music programming is one of the things I do. The old Hardy Boyz theme is actually a library title called "Loaded" ... sorry, I cannot remember the composer/author's name.

I've heard the Hardy's theme in some local car commercails. Must be popular!

Last November some county judge or something used Regal/Storms tag team music in a commercail, which I found odd.

I think I heard Steve Blackman's entrance music in that Milky Way commercial they played during Raw.
Also, does the song in that Mario Vs. Donkey Kong ad have a name?

This will get added at the end of each post you make, below an horizontal line. This should preferably be kept to a small enough size.

It's "Train" by Goldfrapp.

I noticed that too...did a double take, thinking, I've heard that before...still a cool theme.

Considering the end of Jeff`s run, that`s a pretty amusing song title.

So, I was looking around in the record store the other day and I found the greatest album I've ever heard: Joe Pesci: Vincent LaGuardia Gambini Sings Just For You I freaked when I saw this, b/c I'm a huge Joe Pesci mark.
