I like list threads and they always work on other websites forums. Before anyone shuts this down, again, please give your opinion if you think we should do list threads (especially 25 greatest movies of all-time).

This is CRZ's board. He runs it, he decides the rules. We abide by them or find somewhere else to post.

There seem to have been a lot of things happening lately that I really don't want to see on this board, so I thought I'd try out this announcement type thing.
PLEASE let's all cut back on:
1. Topics that aren't anything more than "wow, let's all make big lists!" - while you may think that people are really, really interested in your top (number) (adjective) (noun, plural), after the 50th or so it gets REALLY boring and not at all fun to read.
2. Repeating yourself.
3. Repeating yourself.
4. Repeating yourself. We only need to hear your opinion once - or at least limit it to once a day.
5. Please don't be one of those people that posts every other message in a thread. Often times, when this happens, you're merely (wait for it) repeating yourself.
It's "nice" that a lot of you are able to be here for long periods of time, and many times during the day - but you have to realise that if you clutter up a thread with five or six parts in a short period of time, we're ended up with a thread that the people who are only here infrequently and for a short time find really unwieldy to read, and one that isn't much fun to read to boot.
Please keep in mind this is never a "who can post the most" contest, and I won't hesitate to take away the privlige of posting from anyone who can't grasp this.
I will continue to use private messages - or public mockery - to try to gently remind you of what I've said above. I'd ask the rest of you to leave the public criticism to myself, however, as that's about the only perk that comes from being a dictator. ;-)
