------------------

Ok, let's do this!

WWE - THEN, NOW, FOREVER!

Here's your opening video package!

Opening pyro! We are LIVE from Atlanta, GA! And we are we wasting no time on our opener! Your hosts are MC, JR, and JBL! And hey, they dug Tony Chimel out of mothballs!

ALBERTO DEL RIO v. RANDY ORTON
Oh lord, I would NOT have picked this one to open the show. It's almost as they're trying to tell people "You COULD be watching Sunday Night Football or the World Series, but TOO BAD, you picked ALBERTO DEL RIO AND RANDY ORTON! Neener neener neener!" We recap this dull feud in its entirety.

We start with a brawl on the outside, with Orton taking it to ADR. He slams Del Rio's head on the announce table and makes sure to politely pick up JBL's hat and gently place it back on the table. Well, isn't that nice. Orton stomps away back in the ring. Ricardo runs distraction, giving Del Rio a chance to hang Orton's arm on the steel post. Aaaaaaaaand here we go with Del Rio working over the arm. I feel like I should cut and paste the recap to EVERY SINGLE ALBERTO DEL RIO MATCH EVER here. So fast-forward past about 5 minutes of arm workage and Del Rio grabs the jujigatame. Orton grabs the ropes and then nails his backbreaker for 2. The Hanging DDT is countered with the hotshot. Here's a DEL RIO VIPER COIL! Del Rio's RKO is countered with the Hanging DDT! Del Rio cuts off the comeback again and tries for the jujigatame again, but Orton nails the powerslam for 2! The fight goes to the turnbuckles and Orton gets hung in the Tree of Woe! Del Rio comes off with the DOUBLE STOMP! That was cool! And it only got 2! Now Del Rio goes back up top and...does...something. Seriously, what the fuck was that? Ricardo runs distraction again and Del Rio grabs the jujigatame again! Orton's trying to power out of it, but Del Rio cinches it in! Orton rolls through to a schoolboy for 2! Orton crawls to the corner and Del Rio tries to catch him with the enziguiri, but Orton reverses it into the RKO for the pin at about 15 minutes!

WINNER: Randy Orton - That was a nice finishing sequence and this match was better than it had any right to be, once it went past the requisite "Del Rio works the arm" sequence.

The announcers recap the YouTube pregame show where John Cena was interrupted by Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler. Cena then proceeded to beat the shit out of Ziggler. Hey, remember when the YouTube pregame show used to have MATCHES?

Josh Matthews talks to Vickie Guerrero. Vickie says she has proof of AJ and John Cena and she'll show it off tomorrow night. Oh goodie. Paul Heyman enters the picture and tries to get CM Punk out of tonight's match, but Vickie will have none of it.

TEAM HELL NO v. TEAM RHODES SCHOLARS: WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
We recap the road to the title match for the Rhodes Scholars. The Rhodes Scholars come out with the mic and start chanting "WE are the Tag Team Champions!"

Bryan kicks the shit out of Sandow in the corner to start. Bryan tags out and Sandow rolls out of the way of the seated dropkick and tags out. So Kane brings Rhodes in the hard way and nails the seated dropkick for 2. The champs work over Rhodes in the corner. Bryan pounds on Rhodes with NO! kicks before tagging out to Kane. Kane's elbow gets 2. Rhodes tries to come back and makes the blind tag, allowing Sandow to clip the knee. The Scholars pound on Kane for a bit and work over the knee in the heel corner. Kane catches Sandow coming down and Kane makes the tag. Bryan works Sandow with NO! kicks and hits the running clothesline! Here are some more NO! kicks, but the last one misses! Sandow shoves Bryan, but he nails Rhodes! Bryan chucks Sandow and he nails both Scholars with the suicide dive! Rhodes creates the distraction, allowing Sandow to shove Bryan into the barricade. And now Bryan's the Goat-In-Peril! Bryan tries to come back with NO! punches, but Rhodes hits a knee for 2. Now Sandow comes in to work the arm for 2. Here's the Russian legsweep and the ELBOW OF DISDAIN~! for 2! That's followed by the CHINLOCK OF CHAGRIN~! Back suplex is nearly turned into the NO! Lock, but Bryan's still able to send Sandow crashing into the turnbuckle with a drop toehold! Tags are made on both sides and Kane is a fiery house of fire! Kane's top-rope clothesline is caught and Rhodes tries for the superplex! He gets shoved off and eats the top-rope clothesline! Kane calls for the chokeslam, but Bryan makes the blind tag and nails the diving headbutt for 2...until Kane pulls him off! And now they're arguing! Sandow pulls out Kane and gets wiped out! Rhodes charges Bryan, but Bryan backdrops him over the top...on top of Kane! Bryan comes off the apron with the knee...but misses Rhodes and hits Kane! Oops! Kane takes umbrage to this and now a shoving match has ensued! The Scholars nail stereo baseball slides! Rhodes hits Bryan with Cross-Rhodes, but Kane breaks the count! Now Kane's wiping out the Scholars and pounds the shit out of them for the LAAAAAAAAAAAAME DQ!

WINNERS BY DQ: Team Rhodes Scholars - Good match, but terrible ending.

Post-match, Sandow eats a chokeslam! Kane sets his pyro off and the argument continues. Bryan storms off.

JBL: Still think Dr. Shelby deserves a Nobel Peace Prize?
Cole: I think Dr. Shelby should be fired. I think he already was.

Well, that'll make John Orquiola a sad panda.

Backstage, Josh Matthews talks to The Miz about his rematch for tonight. Miz is getting his belt back, blah blah blah.

KOFI KINGSTON v. THE MIZ: INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Missed the start of this one, but I came back in time to watch Miz chuck Kofi into the steel steps. Miz works over Kofi in the ring and nails the straddling clothesline. Miz goes up top (!) and hits the Savage Axehandle for 2! Miz's corner charge is met with a clothesline and we have a double KO! Kofi makes the babyface comeback. Buzzsaw Legdrop hits! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Miz rolls out and the chase is on. Miz tries to catch Kofi on the way in, but gets rolled up for 2! Double-jump crossbody gets 2 for Kofi! S.O.S is countered with the backbreaker, but the neckbreaker is countered with the S.O.S for 2! Kofi's suplex is countered with a vicious kneebreaker! Kofi sells it bigtime and now Miz works it over! Miz removes the kneepad and removes the boot to continue hitting the knee! Kofi fends him off, but he's at half-speed and Miz pulls him off the turnbuckle! Here's the half-crab! Kofi nearly reaches the ropes, but Miz drags Kofi back to the middle, so Kofi turns it into a small package for 2! DDT gets 2 for Miz! Miz stalls and measures for the Skull-Crushing Finale, but Kofi rolls him up for 2! Trouble In Paradise misses and Kofi rolls out of the Skull-Crushing Finale attempt! Kofi shoves Miz off and catches him coming back in with Trouble In Paradise for the pin!

WINNER: Kofi Kingston - This was a MUCH better match than I expected! Miz showed some great stuff here.

Matt Striker talks to Kofi Kingston in the ring. Kofi says he's rejuvenated and that The Miz brought it out in him.

Wrestlemania NY/NJ promo

Backstage, Hell No argues some more! Kane says Bryan was thinking about the Vegan candy he's not going to get this year! Bryan says the guy who wears a mask shouldn't throw stones about Halloween! Kane starts singing Old McDonald! "Old McDonald had a GOAT!" Kane exits, but not without yelling that HE is the Tag Team Champions!

ANTONIO CESARO v. JUSTIN GABRIEL: UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Cesaro cuts a promo in Swedish! We look back at Justin Gabriel's upset from last Monday.

Cesaro smears Gabriel's face in the mat to start. Gabriel tries to hang with chops and hits a monkey flip. Cesaro sends Gabriel to the outside. Back in, we hit the chinlock! Cesaro places Gabriel on the turnbuckle and nails a knee. Back to the chinlock, as we rapidly approach squash territory here. Cesaro attempts a German, but Gabriel lands on his feet and nails a spin kick. Asai moonsault gets 2! Gabriel comes off a ropes, but Cesaro nails him with a big clothesline. Pin reversal sequence gets 2 for both guys! Gabriel hits a Tornado DDT for 2! The Sternum-Crushing 450 Splash misses, but Gabriel's able to land the backflip DDT for 2! Cesaro takes a breather. Gabriel quickly follows and tries to catch him with the springboard tope, but CESARO CATCHES HIM WITH THE UPPERCUT! OOF! Cesaro takes the dead weight and tosses him back in hits the Neutralizer for the pin!

WINNER: Antonio Cesaro - Great stuff from Cesaro. Gabriel was game and it'd be a shame if he suddenly disappears from the PPV scene like I think he will.

WWE stands up for breast cancer...for another few weeks.

Announcers discuss CM Punk and Ryback. Here's a video package on Ryback.

Backstage, Vickie Guerrero makes some demands for her dressing room, but Paul Heyman enters the picture and asks again to cancel the match. Again, Vickie says no.

CAR STERIO v. THE PRIMETIME PLAYERS
Big Bad deserves $1,000,000 W Dollars for coming up with that name for Team Luchadore. Cole sends out best wishes to Lilian Garcia, who got hit by a car! Yikes!

The luchadores work over Young to start. Rey tries for the 619, but runs into a belly-to-belly from Young. The PTP's hit a double shoulderblock and Rey is your Luchadore-In-Peril! Young hits the chinlock! SC gets the hot tag and cleans house of the PTP's. Springboard crossbody gets 2! Ropewalk DDT is caught and O'Neil muscles SC around with multiple backbreakers! DOG BARK! Young tags in and hits the back suplex for 1. Now Young hits the body scissors. SC tries to fight off the heels, but Young nails him with the apron drop! Double-team front suplex splash hits. Young tries for the Millions of Dollars dance, but eats a shot to the gut. Young takes SC to the heel corner and O'Neil slaps SC around. "You want to speak English, huh? Speak English!" Vertical suplex gets 2. Here's the abdominal stretch, as the PTP's are running through the entire catalog of shitty restholds. O'Neil's blind corner charge misses! SC drops O'Neil and tags are made on both sides. Rey outquicks the shit out Young and hits a Tornado DDT for 2! Rey kicks Young in the face and lowbridges a charging O'Neil! SC disposes of O'Neil with a top-rope plancha! Young's powerbomb is countered into the 619! Rey Drops the Dime for the pin!

WINNERS: Car Sterio - Decent match. Trainers are outside with Sin Cara, as it looks like he hurt himself on the dive. But he's able to get up for the post-match celebration in the ring.

Here's a video package for Sheamus/Show.

SHEAMUS v. THE BIG SHOW: WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Tony Chimel gives us the championship intros.

Show overpowers Sheamus to start. Sheamus tries to fight back, but Show continues to work the power advantage. Here's a chop. Show's SHH! chop is met with rights from Sheamus. Sheamus goes low to take Show down, which sends Show out to take a breather. Sheamus meets Show coming in and hammers on him in the corner. Ten-count corner punches only make it to four before Show throws him off. Sheamus tries for shoulder thrusts, so Show simply tosses him out. Show goes to more chops and chucks Sheamus into the barricade. Sheamus tries for a comeback, but Show hits a side slam. Here's a big headbutt and the "I'm so big, I'm going to just walk on you" spot. More chops. Show with more methodical offense. On the outside, Show chucks Sheamus over the announce table. The Final Cut gets 2. Sheamus tries to fight to his feet, so Show simply chucks him again. Show's just toying with Sheamus and I get the story they're trying to tell, but this is just boring. And just to make things that much more exciting, here's a bear hug! Sheamus tries to break it with a body slam and Show falls on top of him. Show hits the Vaderbomb for 2! Chokeslam is countered with a DDT for 2! Sheamus hangs Show on the top-rope and nails the ten-count chest strikes, but only makes it to four before Show grabs him by the throat. Irish Missile misses and Show nails AAAAAAAAHHHTHECHOKESLAM!!!! for 2! Show tries for the Colossal Clutch, but Sheamus fights out of it and tries for the Irish Cloverleaf, but Show pushes him through the ropes! More chops on the outside. Sheamus rams Show into the steel post! Second Irish Missile attempt is caught with the goozle, but Sheamus fights out of it and knocks him down with Irish Hammers! WHITE NOISE HITS! IT GETS 2!!! Brogue Kick is caught with the Mayweather Sucker Punch! IT GETS 2!!! Show's out of ideas, so he winds up for a second one. Second Mayweather Sucker Punch is ducked and Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick...FOR 2!!! Sheamus winds up for a second one! Second Brogue Kick flies RIGHT into the Mayweather Sucker Punch and Show covers for the pin and the title!

WINNER AND NEW CHAMPION: The Big Show - That was a hot finishing sequence after a really slow start. I really don't get why they built up Sheamus with a 6-month title reign, just to go with Big Show yet again.

Backstage, Eve Torres catches up with Booker, who brushes her off, because he needs to check on Sheamus. Teddy Long enters the picture and says that tonight, Layla and Kaitlyn get to take their revenge tonight. Zack Ryder enters the picture dressed as a witch. Yup. Santino enters the picture dressed up as Lady Gaga. And here's Ron Simmons. CATCHPHRASE!

Elsewhere backstage, Vince McMahon is approached by CM Punk. Punk demands Vince call off the match tonight. Vince tells him to go out and prove he's the Best in the World. Punk walks away. Aaaaand that's your segment!

EVE TORRES v. LAYLA v. KAITLYN: DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
We're already at 10:15PM, which tells me they're going to keep that main event SHORT! We recap this entire moronic saga, because we have LOTS OF TIME LEFT! Yeah, we sure do!

The faces gang up on Eve and Eve bails. Eve shoves Layla and Kaitlyn takes Eve down with a clothesline. And I take a bathroom break! I come back in time for Eve to grab her shitty crab and work over the leg, while Layla plays dead. Layla hits the double-jump crossbody for 2. Eve throws Layla and she does the splits. Layla throws Eve in the same position. Ok, now that's just silly. Kaitlyn disposes of Eve and Kaitlyn grabs an armbar on Layla, who grabs the ropes. Kaitlyn hits a gutbuster and screams a lot. Layla hits the roundhouse, but Eve breaks up the pin and chucks Layla. Eve tries to steal the pin, but Layla breaks that up. Now Kaitlyn rolls up Eve for 2. Kaitlyn hits a bulldog on Eve and nails Eve with clotheslines. Layla catches Kaitlyn coming in with a boot. Layla hits a crossbody, but Kaitlyn rolls through and picks her up like she's fucking John Cena and drops her. Eve removes Kaitlyn with a legdrop and steals the pin on Layla to retain at about 9 minutes.

WINNER: Eve Torres - Does Teddy Long ever get tired of looking like an idiot? This wasn't hideous by Divas standards, which is about all you can ask for these days.

Backstage, Josh Matthews talks to Big Show. Show says "45 seconds" has been exorcised and he dares anyone to try and take the title from him.

In the infirmary, medical personnel are treating Sheamus. The demoted Matt Striker says they'll update his condition later.

Here's a video package for Punk/Ryback.

CM PUNK (w/PAUL HEYMAN) v. RYBACK: WWE CHAMPIONSHIP HELL IN A CELL MATCH
Well...this should be interesting. It's 10:35PM, so this is going to be very short. Justin Roberts gives us the championship intros. That's a noticeably mild pop for Ryback, but he gets the "FEED ME BORE" chant going! It's quickly drowned out by a "Goldberg!" chant. D'oh!

Punk stalls to start. Both men circle each other until Punk slides out to stall some more. Punk runs around and his chops are no-sold. Ryback grabs the double-choke and hits the big boot. Ryback bangs Punk's head around. Corner whip with authority! Corner charge eats boot, but Ryback shoves off Punk's Tornado DDT attempt! Ryback clotheslines Punk to the outside. Ryback pursues, as Punk tries to escape! Ryback chucks Punk into the Cell! Crowd's so entrhalled with this, they chant "Goldberg!" Heyman provides distraction, which allows Punk to grab the fire extinguisher! Punk extinguishes Ryback for a bit and knees the shit out of him. Punk grabs a chair, but Ryback boots the chair in his face! Ryback hits the military press drop! Ryback's corner charge misses and Punk hangs him on the top rope! Springboard clothesline hits for Punk! Savage Axehandle hits! Second Savage Axehandle takes him to a knee! Third Savage Axehandle is caught and Ryback drives him into the corner! Punk manages to hit the spinning heel kick! Punk hits Ryback with the suicide dive into the Cell! Punk gets the chair to the gut and the hangman's neckbreaker. Second neckbreaker is countered with a scoop. Punk shakes him off and Ryback's charge hits the steel steps! Now we hit the chinlock, but it doesn't last long, as Ryback drops him! Corner charge hits the steel post! Corner knee and short-arm clothesline hits for Punk. Savage Elbow hits! Now Punk wants PLUNDAH!!! He grabs the kendo stick! Punk nails him with the kendo stick repeatedly, but Ryback no-sells it all! Ryback makes the babyface comeback to boos! "FEED ME BORE!" chant leads to the KNOCK THE PISS OUT OF YOU! lariat! Shell Shock looks to finish, but...the ref stops Ryback and suddenly nails him with a Greco-Roman nutshot! Fast count and that's it! Um...what?

WINNER: CM Punk - Wow...that was awful.

Post-match, the ref and Punk desperartely try to get the Cell open, but Ryback recovers and chucks Punk into the Cell. Now Ryback sends the ref into the Cell. Ryback kills the ref dead, as Heyman tries to get Punk out of town. Ryback catches Punk, as Heyman bolts for higher ground. Punk tries to run by climbing the Cell and Ryback chases after him! Ryback catches him! SHELL SHOCK ON TOP OF THE CELL! This would be really cool if the match was still going! But it's NOT! FEED ME BORE, indeed! Hit Ryback's music! Closing credits are up and we're out!

FINAL THOUGHT

And that's how you pussy out of making a new star. No more undefeated Ryback, no new champion, no making Punk look good in the process, just out-and-out terrible booking. The only way that could have gone worse was if John Cena was involved.

That was...a REALLY...BORING PPV. It wasn't completely terrible from a wrestling standpoint, but what did you see here that you couldn't have seen on TV, aside from maybe Show/Sheamus? This is an easily forgettable show, with nothing outstandingly great and nothing that can really be considered a trainwreck, except for maybe the World Title finish.

Thumbs down for Hell in a Cell!

Until next time! Take us home, Antonio Cesaro!

Wow, I wonder if John Cena will perhaps find himself the special guest referee next PPV?

You know it's lame booking if I can tell the next angle despite not having watched a PPV in 10 years.

I feel like you missed the subtle point of Brad Maddox, having formerly "screwed" Punk out of his main event victory on RAW several weeks back, suddenly revealing himself as a Paul Heyman guy at the end of tonight's main event. (Just the fact that he WAS officiating the Main Event should have set of your spider sense.) A recycling of the "evil ref Sylvan Grenier" finish from No Way Out 2003 with the added benefit of Maddox not working his first night on television the night of the pay-per-view? You bet! But Jim Cornette reminds us that angles can be recycled every seven years, and they went ALMOST ten on this one.

It was a bit of a surprise to not even get a Cena appearance on this show, but less of a surprise that Ziggler was a lying liar whose guarantees should never be given any credence at all ever from now on.

Oh, and JBL really botched that Divas' match, didn't he? He was practically placed in timeout.

That's all I got - I was kinda watching the World Series instead.

Show was boring. Finish was a big relief. Punk has real stuff to do with the Rock.

Big Show vs. Sheamus was pretty good!

I dunno who authorized "man beats up man in the corner for too long and gets DQ'd" as even an acceptable bad finish. They had a month-long tournament as a prelude to that.

Orton/Del Rio has a really cool finish. Buy the gif, skip the PPV.

Oh God, THAT'S where this came from? I almost completely forgot about the "wink wink, nudge nudge, replacement ref" bit from Raw a few weeks back. To be fair, I think we were all preoccupied with the Seahawks and Packers that night.

At least it didn't come completely out of nowhere, but it doesn't feel any more satisfying.

Regarding Sin Cara, he remained true to himself and knocked himself out long before the dive as he embedded his forehead into the mat following his Asai DDT.

If Big Bad got that from Brandon Stroud's column, then I wanna point out that I was the one to suggest it to Mr. Stroud. @DrPepperMD is me. And I'm just proud that others think it's an amusing name.

If Jericho thinks that Ryback is totally different and more exciting than Goldberg I hope he watched this PPV. I was throughly disappointed with what felt like it should of been a Smackdown main event between Punk and Ryback. "Goldberg" chants were prevalent through that match and besides the ref getting flung at the cage wall no "Holy shit!" moments in a match primarily known for "holy shit!" moments.

The Diva's match wasn't bad actually. It was nice to see a back and forth non-botch heavy Diva's match, people just haven't been given good enough story development to care for these women which makes for deafening awkward silent crowd.

Chili formerly of TLC loves PTP, and I love Chili dancing so yeah. Half-way through that match I thought "Man Sin Cara hasn't botched once, this is amazing...I wonder what kind of underwear Chili is wearing?" and about a minute later Cara tries to break his own neck. Classic Sin Cara ha ha ha. Jesus either change the eyeholes or cut losses with him. Dudes a liability.

Other matches like Kingston/Miz and Cesaro/Gabriel were solid. Orton versus ADR is a good example of why you must have fresh rivalries every few months as it was surprisingly good.

Pretty much my thoughts.

I don't think Ryback's undefeated streak was nearly as important or as big as Goldberg's (especially since we weren't exactly counting up the streak), so the fact that he's no longer undefeated (and that it was only via a crooked ref) doesn't change the character too much and, really, there isn't a whole lot of character there.

And I don't think Ryback's streak was all for nothing. Punk needed a big PPV main event win and hasn't really had one since last December. Punk finally got to go over in the main event of a PPV and that's cool. Feed Punk, not Ryback.

I do kinda wish it was a third party that led to Ryback's loss (like a Lesnar, except one with less HHH baggage) so that Ryback could feud with someone else instead of potentially dragging this thing out.

But, most importantly, Punk makes it a full year to Survivor Series which is awesome, and hopefully gets to hold it until The Rock at the Rumble, which could be potentially a huge match to set up an even bigger WrestleMania. Maybe Ryback can have a mini-feud with Cena or something to build him back up for the Rock rematch. I dunno.

Show beating Sheamus is good. Show didn't really get a good run last year, so this might be a good change of pace, especially with Ziggler lurking and waiting for his shot.

Aw man, I thought I was being so clever in "thinking up" that team name, but I read Stroud's column all the time --- I must've unconsciously lifted it. Mr. Boffo, you can officially have my $1 million W dollars.

I am not really down with Show winning the title. It will just make him face when Ziggler cashes it in which really should have been tonight since Hell in the Cell next to the Elimination Chamber is the most brutal match they have. Show does not need more face or heel turns nor does he need the belt. I like Show, but almost 20 years of this guy wrestling, I am pretty bored of it.

They did the right thing, but not having Ryback go over. You don't know what you are getting with a Ryback title run. If the fans were already shitting on him in his big PPV match then he needed to be stopped now. Maybe the shell shock on top of the cage might be his Foley moment, but who knows. I also disagree with Jericho, Punk has a feud with Rock which means he will be put on a bigger stage and cement him as a legend.

Again, having all these PPVs in this short amount of time is just stupid, but they generate revenue, we think, so Vince will keep doing it. Yet, the product is always going to be rather bad.

Aw man, I thought I was being so clever in "thinking up" that team name, but I read Stroud's column all the time --- I must've unconsciously lifted it. Mr. Boffo, you can officially have my $1 million W dollars.

Eh, I wasn't trying to say you stole it. I tried to see if anyone posted that name on twitter before I did, but twitter autocorrects what it thinks are spelling errors, and stupidly doesn't seem to give you any option to say, "No, I actually am searching for 'Car Sterio' and not 'Car Stereo', thanks". I'm not vain enough to think I'm the only one who could have possibly come up with it.

The Divas match was solid. The three women busted their asses in there. They told mini-stories of Kaitlyn and Layla having teamwork against Eve, and then dissention. Kaitlyn was like a new woman in there, busting out a new arsenal of power moves and being more aggressive than she ever was before. The crowd was dead, but it was the announcers who totally sabotaged the Divas match. They could have sold what was going on and tried to tell the story of the match. Instead, they fell asleep out there, even JR.

I did think the Eve/Kaitlyn portions of the womens match were much better than the times Layla was in though. Laylas kicks are just so light and fluffy.

I think the Kane/Bryan angle needs to make a change now. It's been great but "I'm the tag team champions!" is starting to get old.

Can't recall if it was on this board or not where someone said the best part about Shaemus is after each match he looks like he's been through a freakin' war. But I agree, he makes it looks like he was in a serious fight.

Mr. jx, as your attorney, I'm going to ask you to revise these two remarks, as Sheamus/Show was not a "Hell in a Cell" match, and the "Hell in a Cell" PPV Live Event occurred six weeks after the "Night of Champions" PPV Live Event due to the discontinuation of the second October PPV, formerly "Bragging Rights" and "Vengeance," effective this year.

What if ... Punk defeats The Rock at the Rumbe and then The Undertaker at WrestleFreakingMania to end the streak?

They have given Punk the push of a life time this time, why not go all the way with him now, and make him a legend?

There is no way the streak should ever be broken. Not by CM Punk, nor Chris Jericho, nor John Cena, nor anybody. The streak is sacrosanct.

Then is doesn't help anyone. Undertaker is a living legend already. 21:0 doesn't do anything for him, whereas 20:1 wouldn't hurt his legacy at all.

I think we've gone past the point where breaking the streak could help someone. No one wants the streak to end, and the crowd will most likely shit on someone ending it. Taker isn't a real wrestler at this point. He's a nostalgia figure trotted out once a year for a crowd that wants to enjoy seeing the lights go out and hearing the gong one more time. It helps that the last few years his WM feuds have been in a vacuum with other part-timers. Hell, throw an armored truck of cash at Goldberg so Taker can have another old and meaningless big name to beat this year.
